Question:
What is a good PVP MMO?

I've played World of Warcraft since it first came out, and I'm finally absolutely sick of it. I've considered trying Darkfall but I'm unsure if my computer could run it.

Darkfall might be a good choice. The requirements aren't that high, and you can turn the settings down. Basically the game is kill or be killed. You pretty much always have to be on your guard, and people love to grief noobies so you have to become resourceful fast. I wish people played it more like a fantasy sim but I don't think there's enough content for that,so people just run around in groups and slaughter as they go.

You could always try the game everyone loves to hate: EVE online.

Space ships, no avatars (yet), fleet fights, sandbox style, real consequences, single server (no realms/shards/separate servers). Everyone who plays plays together

PvP in EVE is somewhat unique. If you get killed, you don't get your stuff back. It's gone, done, blown up, floating debris in space.

Some who have tried it complain that they can never catch up to veteran players. It's all about how you play, not necessarily how good your stuff is.

Check it out: www.eveonline.com
