how do i put custom scenery in rct3?

i am downloading from trackworx and when i put it in, it will show in walls but when i open it, it freezes and says no sid for svd. where do i put the files. sometimes when i get it to work, i notice the only items in the list is the catwalks, a frame and the support killer. i use vista

It depends if you have the normal RCT3 or RCT3 platinum and what your installing. It varies whether you are downloding CSO's (custom scenary objects, like custom supports), or CTR's (custom tracked rides, like a custom version of a dive machine coaster).



For CSO's:



If you have the origonal RCT3 download to:

C:\Program Files\Atari\Roller Coaster Tycoon 3\Style\Themed



If you have RCT3 Platinum download to:

C:\Program Files\Atari\Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 Platinum\Style\Themed



Once downloaded, open up the game. You should be able to find yor custom supports either in the scenary tab or the walls tab.



NOTE: Sometimes the game crashes because the CSO is too large or its poly count is too large and you curent computer state can't handle it.
