Counter strike invalid cd key error?

Question

I have Counter Strike 1.6 installed on two of my home computers, both connected to home lan? I wanted to play, but when I tried to connect to the other computer hosting the game, I got the "invalid cd key" error... Is there a way to fix it, so I can play?

CS 1.6 can only be played on one computer at one time by one person. You cannot host a game on one computer and play on it with another. This will cause key conflict. Nothing will happen to your account, but Steam won't let you do this.

You contact steam. Usually they ask to email an actual pic of the games bar code, with a number they give you written on the top of that.

there are sites that tell you the cd keys of CS: CZ but why would we tell you the cd key. plus, we dont even know you. go and buy the game because its not worth the trouble.
