Ok where do I find the beginning final fantasies? I know the US combine some of them like Final Fantasy Origins has 1 and 2 right? And Final Fantasy Anthology has 5 and 6? Something like that? I know that the actually games where it's just 1,2,3,4,5,and 6 hard hard to find because they are so old...I would like to play them on PS because that's where I play my other final fantasy games. Can someone please explain what games to buy to play the the beginning final fantasies?

Well some of those Final Fantasies cannot be played on the PS because there were made on the old Nintendo System years back. the only ones for PS are 4,5 and 6. As for now the best bet to get all of them is to get Anthologies Chronicles and Origins..unless u have a DS or PSP.

Final Fantasy Origins is the original FF 1 and 2 on the NES

Final Fantasy Anthology is FF6(part 3 in the states) and FF V(never released in the states)

Final Fantasy Chronicles is FF IV(part 2 in the states) and Chrono Trigger

And that's all of them, the only one that was never released was the original Japanese only NES version of FF3, which was just recently released on the Nintendo DS as Final Fantasy 3.

some of the earlier games weren't even on playstation. i believe that was 1+2 there others you should be able to find. i know for sure amazon.com has a few of the titles and ebay may have the rest

I believe you can play the older versions on your PC using an emulator. You'll just need the roms which can be found online by searching.

I'm not sure if all of the parts came out in the US. Go to www.ign.com and check.
