Ok, I've been looking for the right place to get the download for the Cartographer for Minecraft. Now I have Windows 7 and from what i've seen the ones i've been to are for windows vista or won't work on windows 7. Also the videos i've looked up on youtube on how to run it and get it set up are for windows vista. Can anyone help me find the right links?

First off, Cartograph is outdated and won't work with the new McRegion level formats. As ZomBuster hasn't updated it after the Minecraft McRegion update we have to look for alternatives. I would recommend Minemapper, it's the Windows version of MCMap Live for Mac if you've heard of that. Basically it renders an isometric (45 degree angle) view of whatever world you choose and you can drag, zoom, etc. It also has Day, Night, Cave and Nether functions. I find it much more useful than Cartograph was, as Cartograph took a long time to render an image that was quite hard to work with. With Minemapper you can also create JPEGs/GIFs/whatever of the current screen or the entire map (which in itself is what Cartograph did). I'm running XP 32-bit so I can't give you a 100% guarantee that it works on Windows 7, but there is absolutely no reason to believe it wouldn't.
