I see all these great stories about how people can go from 1-90 in like 2 days /played, and I want to know how do you do this? I'm planning on getting my MOP to 90 from level 1.

You can get to lvl 90 in about 4 days (I believe 2 and a half days was the record) The main way is to do quests, and do an a dungeon every once in a while. The quests in dungeons grant the most xp but are only available once, so you have to be lucky while randoming. Through the 80's, I found doing BG's to be really fast. I wouldn't power level this early, since you are new. Get a feel for the game and enjoy it now, since end game content can be a *****. Also, don't reroll classes all the time. Just pick one and learn them and love them.

Well let me start by saying, anyone that can get from 1-90 in 2 days without BoA is a god in human form or a bot of some kind. It would require almost non-stop play time wth minimal if any breaks for food, water, or even bathroom time.

That having been said, there are plenty of ways to level quickly, but they usually require some sort of aid. Questing is arguably the fastest method to level up and some people will purchase questing guides like Zygor to make the process even easier.

Equipping Bind to Account armor also makes this process a lot faster, since most of the BoA gear gives a 5-10% exp boost. It also levels with you, and is the equivalent of a blue quality item of the same level so it is actually very powerful up to it's level cap. (Note that BoA gear can only be given to characters on the same realm.)

Choosing a duel-role character can also make it faster, since you can add dungeons to the mix, and at lower levels a single dungeon with quests can easily give you a level or two (if not more if you are fully BoA geared). Classes that can tank or heal can decrease dungeon que times by a lot.

Tanks are also amazing to quest with since you can easily grab 5 or 6 quest monsters and AoE them down, provided you know how to play the class well. When questing as a speed leveler you should NOT stay in an area until it is fully complete. Once you hit the level needed to move to a more powerful area, you should quest there instead. If you have a really good friend who is willing to level with you it can make things a lot faster as well since two people killing stuff will always be faster then one. If your friend is on a Refer a Friend with your account you both would get 300% exp boost when you play together so there is something to think about as well.

Giving your new toon the required gold for the riding and flight skills immediately will also decrease the time needed for traveling, but this can be expensive. (The fastest flying skills which can be gotten at 70 and 80 are 4k a piece at max Faction rep and 5k for no rep) While going for speed leveling it is usually best to ignore all profession skills until level cap, and I recommend ignoring pvp as well, since it gives the least amount of exp for the time spent.

Hope this helps somewhat.

You'd have to be half retarded to have "your personal best" as 10 days.

It's simple. Here's how:

-BoAs. All exp granting ones

-Guild exp perks

Not sure if quests or instances are faster. But I typically hit 85 in 3 days of /played. Pretty easy, pretty simple. You don't need to not have a life, you just need to be good at WoW.

Leveling from 1-90 in 2 real life days are an entirely different matter however.

Also only idiots pay for leveling guides. There is no need for them. Just do all the yellow quests, move on.

World of Warcraft requires a subscription fee to be paid to allow continued play, with options to pay in one month, three month, or six month blocks, although time cards of varying length are available both online and from traditional retailers.

Simply put? It's called not having a life.

I'm not trying to put you down for playing WoW, I'd be a hypocrite for doing so since my wife and I play. But I can assure you that there is no magical way to quickly power level a character from 1-90 in 48 hours unless you're willing to play for 48 hours straight. As in no sleep, minimal bathroom breaks and having someone prepare and deliver your meals.

Ways to do it quicker usually involve being part of a guild that gives you access to the guild perk of the increased XP and Rep gains as well as loading up with as many heirloom items that the guild store allows your class to have.

Once you have all of that, you're talking about using a quest guide app like Zygor or spending levels 15-90 doing nothing but running random dungeons.

My personal best for leveling a toon up to 90 is 10 days. But that's getting 8 hours of sleep, working a full time job, spending time cooking meals, spending time with my family, taking my wife out to dinner and the movies and a couple of times a week.

So you *can* power level a toon very quickly if you're willing to give up everything else in your life. But just remember that by doing that you're not doing WoW as in World of Warcraft.

You're doing WoW as in "Wow! I can't believe it's been that long since I had a shower."

@Oappo - My "personal best" was not meant to be a boast. I know that there are people who can power level a toon much MUCh faster than that. I was simply stating that I did that in 10 days as an example of what happens when you sit back and enjoy the game. Sitting back and enjoying seeing the sights and actually following the storylines all the while having a normal life outside the game that involves work, spending time with family and friends and yes having intimate relations with my wife.

If you want to get down to brass tacks, my personal best time for power leveling a toon to 85 was four days. But that was when Cataclysm first came out and I was flat on my back after having knee surgery. I had nothing to do but sit on the couch and watch Daytime TV (which totally sucks BTW) so I was able to dedicate about 18 hours a day to the game. So in 62 hours of having nothing more important to do than to wait for my next dose of pain meds...I got a toon up as fast as one could reasonably expect without giving up totally on sleep and on life or as a lot of the powerleveling services do it, running in shifts.
