I cant get better at halo reach?
Ive played Reach for a long time. I'm a long time halo 3 veteran too. I'm a colonel so i really dont want simple answers such as "practice" or lame noob speeches such as "time ur dmr more". I get it i know all that stuff. I honestly think that ive hit a "wall" that is preventing me from getting any better with my current amount of experience. My sensitivity is at five and i still cant keep on my targets. I tend to be jumpy and flick the stick when trying to move when in combat. I want to be able to increase my sensitivity as well.

So in all i would like you guys to give me some tips/hints/exercises/or specific types of practices i can do/watch/read. Im not asking for a quick fix i want some legit pro tips. Also i dont wish to spend any money on some new controller analog sticks. I know im asking a lot so you dont have to answer every one of my questions just do best u can.

Before you go In to matchmaking play a couple custom games. Increase your sensitivity to 10. Play as you normally would 2 or 3 games then switch your sensitivity back to 5 or whatever you prefer and because you were playing at 10 your normal 5 will seem much slower to you and help your aiming. U can also use this tip to start getting used to the higher sensitivity level you are wanting. Its kinda like tricking your mind to thinking the game is slower. As far as you getting jumpy, STAY calm. Keep that in mind. Take a deep breath and play the game, dont let the game play you. You stay calm you get the Kill, you freak you, you die.... Thats the best advice I have for that question. Anyway ill list my Gt below for any further questions.

Not sure if I can be a ton of help, but one thing that I noticed about Reach is that you can kind of "curve" your shots. What I mean by that is if you were to play a swat game, you would notice that instead of parking the reticle on the opponents head and firing it is more beneficial to fire while the reticle is sweeping across the head. For some reason, the shots can cover a lot of ground while the reticle is moving, allowing for an otherwise not great shot to land right on the mug. Jerking the analog sticks is not such a bad thing. I'm thinking that you should try to stop trying to park the reticle on the head before firing and getting in the habit of moving the reticle across the head while you fire. Reach's engine is very forgiving so long as the reticle is still moving while you shoot.

Argh, seeing as you've play Halo 3 your aim probably isn't the problem.

Before killing an easy target, aim a little to the right before you fire, then re-aim on your opponent. Repeat this, aiming a little farther right every time. This should improve your reaction time and even sensitivity.

Also, CoD is the 'Cancer of Halo'. Even a quick game of CoD tends to hinder your Halo performance as the styles are very different.

you know, there isnt really much we can do.

BUT if you want spots for infection, look it up on youtube. also, aiming for the head is the best way to kill. i can show you all my spots and tricks if you play with me some time.

Don't know if reach have multiplayer, but if so plug in 2 controllers, use one as a dummy and practice moving around it and shooting it, without looking at the screens, also Buy cod

in case you desire to get greater effective basically get one among your truly stable pals that made it to the optimal point in like a week and prepare with them until finally you could finally beat them. elementary, loose

If you can't get any better then you must be a pro.

Congratulations!
