ED-E Won't upgrade even after I picked up the upgrade module.Help? (Fallout:new vegas lonesome road)?

Do you have to collect them all before ede upgrades? Does he use them automatically?if not,how do you use the things? Please help,I really like ede and want his upgrades.

You have to activate dialogue. One of the options should be something like "I got an upgrade for you ED-E" or something of the sort. If its not there, then i would say it glitched and the only way to fix it is to load a save before you got the first upgrade.
