Can't remeber the name of this old, school, computer game, please help!?

Question

In my old school we use to play a game on the computers where you had to solve a detective mystery and it was set in a small village and you had to walk around and gather clues. The mysteries were all about stolen objects such as watering cans and gnomes and silver ware. The learning part of the game was all about co-ordinates and you had to plot them on a graph to where you wanted to go in the town, the clues were eye witnesses, piece of clothing etc.
There were 2 versions, 1 more difficult than the other, it was all animated cartoony and i think there was a train.

I remember all of that but not the name of this game, PLEASE help me by telling me the name because it is bugging so much and i really want to find it and play it now yaaaaaaayyy!! :)
