Is 768kbps a good internet speed for online gaming ?

i have the choice of buying the full correct version of broadband which cost 60 dollars. and i also have the chance of buying the light version which is 768kbps and i wanted to know if it was a good speed for online gaming that is going to cost me 30 dollars
