need world of warcraft launcher help?

i have never played WoW and this is making my impression of it drop. i instilled it and went to the launcher. it was "downloading updated tools" and the blue bar stopped moving under the "i" of downloading. i have tried asking on the wow forums and it will not let me b/c i don't have a player yet (which is stupid if u ask me) here is in detail what happens. on order.
open launcher, it loads the news & starts the download, my mouse dose the blue circle / like the hour glass, then blue bar stops, its in the same place every time.

Things i have tried,
- uninstall and reinstall X3
- safe mode X3
-run as admin X100000
-repair tool X100000000
-opened task mng. and stopped the processes that the WoW forums suggested
and various combos of each

no idea what to do, i fell like giving up on WoW but i want to give it a shot.
i installed the WoW battle chest thing with 2 discs WoW and burning crusade, the version at the top or the launcher is v4.0.0.12911 im am running windows 7 if you tell me to download the patch from a mirror. just so you know i have no idea how of what the hell it means so please use detail.

Alright, first, ignore the idiot who posted first.



I've been playing WoW for like, 5 years, and this sort of thing only happens every once in a while. For some reason, it's doing the same exact thing to me (even stopping in the same place). I'm about to call Blizzard to see if they can help and if they do, I'll add on to this answer.

The get carry of usually basically comes on Tuesdays and if there's a patch or replace popping out. The previous 2 weeks there have been 2 downloads to coach for Cataclym yet its no longer a classic element whenever you get in.
