I own skyrim and oblivion, first played in 2006, at a friends house(Morrowind) and I don't remember much, I browse the web a lot and I read Morrowind is better than skyrim, I have no memory of Morrowind, and I believe skyrim is the best game, but is Morrowind better or is skyrim?
TL;DR should I buy Morrowind?

Morrowind was pretty amazing, and it's really great if you enjoy playing as a dark elf. I actually prefer Oblivion just for the expansion pack, The Shivering Isles - I love Sheogorath so much ^_^
Anyway, Morrowind should be pretty cheap around I think, but it's really up to you. If not, there are probably some playthroughs on youtube, but that's not really the same.

tes fans say morrowind is better because its supposeldy more immersive
what that means is that its not friendly to newbies
it wont hold your hand
you are expected to read everything and figure out things on your own
there are no pointers
no handy quest pointers of where to go next
no fast travel you are going to have to walk all the damn way
yes all the way
personally i dont care much for morrowind i always liked oblivion better
but it cant hurt to try it its hardly expensive any more these days

I never played the other games but I saw them on youtube and I think that Skyrim is better.
