How do I install Battlefield 2 mods on to the game?

Im trying to put a couple of mods on my battlefield 2 game on the pc and i cant figure out how to apply them on.

They should install themselves, if they don't and come in a folder they need to go into Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods



If you don't get a shortcut to play the mod, you need to create one by copying the Battlefield 2 shortcut and renaming it to whatever the mod is called, the right click on it and selec t properties and change the target to include the name of the folder the mod is in eg

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +modPath mods/dconx +ignoreAsserts 1

or

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +modPath mods/Omnicide +ignoreAsserts 1



Most mods have forums with instructions.

Put the disk in then goto my computer > drive D. Then a pop up should come up saying "Install battlefield 2"
