ok I have both and if your into racing then go ahead and pick the ps3 w/motostorm, but halo 3 is a more fun game to play. There are not that many games out there for ps3 just yet. For xbox360 there are allot of game titles out and more to come. The ps3 is a beauty plus it has blueray and wifi and online play is free but not organized. The 360 on the other hand doesn't have wi-fi but you can buy the wi-fi adapter for like $99 if you want to (not sure if the elite comes with integrated wifi I think not though). 360's online play is more organized but you also have to pay for it it isn't free. You can buy the 3 month card or the one month at a time or the whole year, but the point is you have to pay for it. However xbox is more organized with their online play and it is a better over all experience online. If you don't plan on playing online then this shouldn't matter. You have to buy the extra hd-dvd for the xbox to play hd-movies if that matters to you other than that you can play hi def games but not hd movies unless you buy that extra hd-dvd attachment but it comes with a free movie and remote (so for me good deal). Anyways but if you are getting it just for the game play then it shouldn't matter either. You will enjoy playing halo 3 more if your into first person shooter and you get to make friends online and play with other people who have xbox live. I really didn't enjoy motostorm as much as halo 3 ut thats just me. My suggestion is do as I did get both if you can't chose but if you must chose then remember this ps3's consoles have not had as much problems as the 360's however the new batch of 360's including the newer elite's are built better and with better parts. I had problems with my 360 and the red ring of death because i bought it when 360 first came out and i went through 9 consoles they kept fixing it and then sent me a new one and I have not had any problems in a long time since then because I received a new one (with the better cooling fans and parts inside) But see I enjoy my 360 so much I couldn't part with it. So many times i wanted to give up on my 360 but man it is so much fun to play and i play halo 3 allot LOL! it is allot of fun. But since the problem was fixed it has worked out perfect, Also forgot to mention that with the ps3 you can surf the web just like a computer on your tv but you gotta have a keyboard and it isnt as fast as a computer or as good, but at least you can check your myspace and watch you tube videos and get cheat codes lol provided you have wireless internet or at least cable internet (duh). I also wanted to remind you just in case if you have any old ps2 games and want to play them in your ps3 you have to get the 80GB one because it is either the 20 or 40 or 60 I can't remember which one exactly but one of those cannot play old ps2 games but the 80 GB sure can.

Xbox 360 elite, way better than the PS3

Yeah, PS3 has the best graphics but overall the Xbox 360 is better and has the best online gaming experience

I think I even prefer the Nintendo Wii than the PS3

I would pick up the xbox 360 elite because you can play on xbox live with it and it has 120gb hard disk. The graphics don't have that much of a difference and also the elite is cheaper than the ps3.

The foundation of xbox is more friendly than the technical ps3 overlay

but they are both great

i would get the ps3 when its a little cheaper and because its blue ray
