I support region blocking of video games?

i am sure there are more americans who support region blocking of video games than who are against it. we've never seen a national poll on it

PEOPLE SHOULD BE HAPPY PLAYING VIDEO GAMES,WHO CARES IF THEY CAN'T PLAY SOME OBSCURE JAPANESE GAME? THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO DON'T HAVE WATER OR FOOD AND THESE BOZOS ARE COMPLAINING THAT THEY CAN'T PLAY WARIOWARE TWISTED OR SOME JAPANESE GAME REALLY ? REALLY? REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY?

I AM SORRY BUT I THINK MOST AMERICANS AFTER READING MY ABOVE POST WOULD SAY THAT NOT RELEASING CERTAIN VIDEO GAMES IN CERTAIN REGIONS IS NOT A BAD THING

THERE ARE SO MUCH INFINITELY BIGGER ISSUES AND THOSE BOZOS COMPLAIN ABOUT REGION LOCKING. I AM SORRY ONLY HARDCORE VIDEO GAMERS ARE AGAINST REGION LOCKING

I AM SCARED TO BELEIVE I LIVE IN A WORLD WHERE PEOPLE CARE AS MUCH ABOUT PLAYING VIDEO GAMES THAT ARE NOT AVAIABLE TO THEM AS THEY DO ABOUT BIGGER ISSUES.

A video game is not going to harm a culture.

Blocking games is just a way to block people away from other cultures and there views, but seeing another regions culture is not bad, and it does not harm your own or the others.



Video games are stories, and people get upset over region blocking because it is the same as blocking a book, or even banning bingo.

People are interested in the authors story and point of view.



That is the whole point in video games, enjoying a story, and having fun.



I never said those things, and i never called you that, so why were they on my thanks giving day parade question?

So, I am against blocks.

And what are these bigger problems that you speak of? And what is your question? This is a violation of the rules here.



And do you have a concrete support of you claim, perhaps from a credible source? Though I agree that region blocking helps video game developers to have a safe and secured licensure of their games.



Also, you make hasty generalizations. How many, statistically-wise, are there who are pro and against region blocking? Just stop your whining, okay? Gamers, whether devoted/hardcore or not, have the right to play their games regardless if they belong from a different region. It's the stories, gameplay, graphics and whatnot that they want. If you want to support your culture and others' culture, then don't play games from different regions and leave these players be.

Are you joking? I ******* buy **** tons of game from Japan! My resident evil games are Japanese! Region lock is ******* stupid! Hardcore video gamers? Most your games must be COD. Japanese games always had more imagination. ******* racist Yankee!

I don't understand why people don't think cultures can mix and mingle, and why there are such things as strong cultures to begin with. Cultures aren't people, they can't get boo-boos.
