I'm thinking of getting, But the first time I tried it, it was so boring. The whole time I was stuck in caves getting mauled up or wandering the land for miles to my next waypoint for the next loadout before I could do fast travel. The quests seem to be kinda all the same, as in you go in a cave and kill kill kill...etc. Ive looked at some youtube videos of People playing and sometimes it looks great, and I want to get it. But other times it looks terribly boring..Kinda Depressing too almost. I only played about an hour of it, to the part where i met the Graybeards on top of the Biggest moutain and got some new spells? Was that a good taste of it or should I try it out more? Also xbox360 is the console I use.

I'm on the xbox and don't Think mods would work for it :P I would choose pc But i dont think it can handle it? Ummm I guess here is my specs.

4gb DDR3 Memory
802.11b/g/n
AMD Dual-core processor A6-4400M
AMD Radeon HD 7520G with 512 MB Graphics System Memory
500 GB HDD
Dvd-Super Multi DL drive
NV52L06u Gateway Laptop..I think thats the number for it lol?

Hell no it's not boring! There is so much stuff to do. The main quest is great, and you get to fight dragons. There are also so many different characters to create. Perks let you focus on skills so you can be a badass Mage, warrior, archer, etc. If you think it's too easy turn up the difficulty, or even play a Mage and only level your magic not your health for a real challenge. Hope this helps

Well, your computer can definitely handle it, just on some lower settings. I reccomend getting it on PC, The mods really bring the hilarity and Epicness into the game :D Although it is still epic without them, just not the same experience. So you played the part with the Greybeards? That was an average part. Basically just search for someone and they give you a reward. It was pretty close to the beggining of the game too, so it is pretty boring, Nothing special. There are many parts in Skyrim where the game really stands out, like some quests will change how you see the game.

For example, on one quest, you go into a possessed house with a man who asked you to come in with him to investigate, then furniture starts flying around, and next thing you know you're friend gets dragged into a different room, is trapped in a cage by a demon, and it wont let him out until you satisfy his needs. Or when you go into a different dimension, with a beautiful and strange, atmosphere, and there are many paths to take, but only one will lead you to an extremely special weapon.

If you find the regular quests bland and boring, just give the game some time, after you start leveling and becoming more powerful, it will be almost a totally different game. You just gotta find the hit points. I highly recomend it, even if its not on PC. It is one of the best gaming experiences ever. Hope I helped. Good luck.

After you have performed for awhile it gets boring for the reason that it will get repetitive. Same voices used over and over. Same basic gameplay: you find a quest...You search eternally to seek out the silly location, then you go by means of the situation (identical thing again and again) most of the time a cave, you fight people until you reach the end and the quest is over. Plot severely is boring until you like several that delusion dragon interwoven conflict between kindoms crap. I received so bored of the special stupid names I lost track and could care less, I hated either side and desired the dragons to kill all of them. Plus they have been normally talking about dragons coming this and stopping them that ...Why so i can store Skyrim the location the place all people talks the equal? Nah, stop half of approach ..Which took endlessly. Nothing is enjoyable for that long not even intercourse.

Skyrims problem is it starts off slow and painful. When I first started it I was really let down because the build up for it was crazy even the clerks at gamestop where like this is the rpg when I was buying it. You basically just have to push through the beginning. There's a ****. Ton of things to do. My advice is to make your way to solitude and join the imperials as soon as you can ( you'll have to walk there) also don't commit any crimes in the beginning like stealing or assult because its hell getting arrested when u first start out if you resist a swarm of gaurds kicks your *** over and over or you could go to jail and they'll take all your money and gear so after you serve your time you don't got ****! So later on you get 2 make the gaurds your ***** by joining the thieves guild or becoming thane of the major towns or just hy kicking their Ase's when they try to arrest you. Also you need to decide what you San'a be if its a mage then go to the college of winterhold asap and wear the cloth gear and use spells and staffs. If you San'a be a warrior wear heavy gear and for archery light gear with sneak and archery bonus( you'll get a ton of gear sets with these stats). Also Max out enchanting and smithing asap the best heavy armor is daedric which you Smith. One last tip don't go around killing npcs they don't rrspawn and if they die it can screw up quests for you quickly

It only really gets boring like that when you've completed all the questlines. For me the best was about the first 40 hours (daedric armor is overpowered) after that I could one hit most of the enemies and all the quests started getting repetitive so it wasn't as fun... Early on is really great though. Not sure about whether or not it would work for you on pc.

To me it is very boring unless you play through the whole series of the Elder scrolls. I started with Morrowind which is only available on the old Xbox. My favorite Game out of the series is Oblivion I would check it out. To me Skyrim is boring but different people have different feelings. Hope i helped! :)

if you think skyrim is boring, than rpg games are not your type of game. ask a friend to borrow their skyrim. on the pc you can get mods on skyrim to make more interesting. check the specs online
