Best way to spend skill point in Fallout New Vegas? ?

What are the absolute best way to spend your skill points? I already spend 100 each for the Repair (Jury Rigger is by far the best perk), Guns, and Energy Weapons.

Speech. Get it to about 75 and you can speech check your way though 90% of your game.

I agree, up the speech skill. barter can help get more caps due the speech checks, but the points might be better spent on weapon skills depending on what kind of player you are.



Also, if you have it for the PC, you can easily cheat and give yourself 100+ skills in each, 1000+ carrying weight, 5000+ hp, 10+ special, and so on (thanks to console codes).

Speech skill is VERY important...you will be able to lie more convincingly, or sweet talk people into doing things they normally would not do
