Should I Get GTA 4 or Saints Row 2 and why?

i am stuck between the two.

As a person who has both, I advise you to get both. They're both pretty cheap by now. GTA 4's graphics are fantastic, and it's storyline is top notch, but Saints Row 2 is more unique, and more over the top. Get both, they're not that expensive anymore.

Saints row 2: The plot is pretty much you wake up after being blown up and you can create your guy with different hair, skin, clothes etc and what you have to do is take back the city from three gangs brotherhood, samedi and ronin. (you are the saints). When you complete it its still fun beacuse you can do activities. After that i'd say the fun dies down. car custimization is SWEET in this game this is what gta lacks you can take your car over to rim jobs and cuztomize wheels rim paints hood bumbers nos windows and more. I would give the graphics 8.5/10



Gta4:I dont bealive the game has one plot it starts as you come off a boat from siberia and start doing missions for your cousin roman but as you get further in the game you get more missions and it seems as each persons mission has a different plot but i'd say the overall plot is survive in america. When you complete the game theres a lot to do if you didnt complete it yet after you beat all the missions. You can get cars for packie, steve and i bealive theres one more guy, you can also use the police computer and catch criminals or you can browse the internet or just drive around and have fun. Gta4 lacks car customization the only thing you can do is take your car over to the spray and pay and change color for 100$ i would give the graphics 10/10



My final sat: I would say these games are both 10/10 they never seem to get boring until you complete 100% but just driving around isnt bad. One thing i forgot to mention about sr2 is that it has co-op play which means you can play with friends and beat missions but back to my final word. I would say if you would like a more realistic game go with grand theft auto if you would like a more non realistic but yet fun gme go with sr2.



Also sr2 campaign seemed short



They also both have online multyplayer but gta 4 has more games to play on multyplayer

Gta4 = better graphics and story. Sr2= lots of customization. Gta4 has no airplanes. Unless you get dlc for it theres like 2 helicopters and no planes. Sr2 has lots of helos planes cars and other stuff. Gta4 you get a few asigned houses. Sr2 you buy houses and customize them. Sr2 has a lot of otherside things i.e insurance fruad, helicopter assualt, and much more. Sr2 thers gang areas you take over and defend. Gta 4 theres not. Sr2 has a lot more cool clothes, and weird ones too such as a spaceman suit, hotdog suit, red faction guerilla clothes. Gta 4 has a lot of clothes but not quite as much. Sr2 has a much bigger arsenal. Oh and you can customize your cars body and performance in sr2. However the damage effect on cars is much better in gta4. So basically what gta4 lacks in options they make up for in graphics. And they multiplayer is much better

I have both games and they are both pretty good. Gta has better graphics. sr2 has better customization: clothes color, character, voice, cars, vehicles. sr2 has much much more weapons. sr2 u can customize your house. get saints row 2. i bought it january 2010. and me and my friend are still playing it till 3 am. it is so fun and so much to do. + you can play saint 2 co op campaign
