Error: Access Violation with Big Fish Games?

Question

I downloaded some Big Fish games and first they worked, once I shut down my computer and restart I get Error: Access Violation at 0X754......tried to read program terminated.....I tried checking off compatibility mode, set as administrator etc etc I even updated my drivers and to no avail.....I will go thru the whole process of checking off boxes and reinstalling and they I will finally get it to work again UNTIL I shut off the computer and restart.

NOTE: Its not my firewall or virus protector I have tried the games without these and it still wont work.....Hope someone can help because Big Fish has no clue as to what the problem is but it seems to be a common problem - Thanks in advance.

Wish I could give you a great big hug!! For almost a year, I couldn't play any of my BigFish games because that stupid game manager caused blue screen errors. Recently I rebuilt my system and with new components I wasn't having the same problem. -But!- The last day or two I kept getting error codes telling me 'your game is corrupt - try uninstalling and then reinstalling.' Then I stumbled across your post. I actually just went into the folder and didn't do anything else but right-click the application icon and the game started right up! Yay! *gives big virtual hug* :D

I, too, have been having access violations with my games. Even contacted support and after 3 weeks of emails back and forth, problem still not resolved. Today, I found a way to work it. I created a folder on Desktop and named it Big Fish Games. Then I went to COMPUTER: LOCAL DISK(C:) PROGRAM FILES (x86). I clicked on each individual game folder - looked for name of game (application), opened it with RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR - if it worked, then I SEND TO: DESKTOP, rename it so it was the proper name, and then moved it into the folder that I created. I completed bypass the GAME MANAGER. Apparently the problem may reside in the GAME MANAGER application, and although I deleted it many times, the problem still remained. Now I can play my 58 games :-)
