flight simulator help?

Hi i used to own flight simulator 2000 and combat flight simulator 3 which were both fantastic games. but I've recently bought a new computer and the games are too old to work on it. I was wondering what the best combat flight sim and what the best regular flight sim was in your opinion. for a combat sim I'm looking for a game that has some modern jets or something like that.

Well depending on your new system theres Microsoft Flight Sim 2004 "A Century of Flight" and the newer Microsoft® Flight Simulator X. I personally still use FS 2004 because my machine runs it well. Combat Flight Sim 2 was the best version of that series in my opinion.. As far as modern Jets Ubisoft's "Lock-On" and the add-ons "Flaming Cliffs 1 and 2" are your best bet ...Currently my squad is flying Ubisoft's "IL2 Sturmovik 1946" which is a WW2 sim.
