Sorry to tell you, but 1 GB is still not enough. I have 4 GB ram and tri-core processor and i still lag like a motherf**ker. You will probably have to upgrade your RAM and processor. It also depends if you have a good internet connection. I cant really tell you what to upgrade because I dont know if you are experiencing gfx lag or internet lag. The way to tell them apart is if ppl are warping, then you have an internet lag and that can be fixed by getting a higher speed connection. If the movement on the screen is slow and you shooting very slow and everything looks like you are going in slowmo, then its a hardware issue and you might have to upgrade to an even higher degree of hardware(the most that affect gaming are graphics card, processor, and ram. Look into those) then what you already have. If you are going to do so, just buy a gaming computer, as that should be enough to run CA on high and most popular games on high(MW2,BFBC2,etc). If any of these things arent in your budget, then i suggest going to a lower quality game such as soldier front, sudden attack , or operation 7.

You could use the Defragment tool that Windows provides. To do this, Right-Click "My Computer." Right Click- "Local Disk(Your Hard Drive)- Properties."- "Tools"- "Defragment Now." This will help.

I also use an application called CCleaner. I love this program. It basically clears out unnecessary junk that your computer does not need- Cookies, Temporary Internet Files. http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

This program is 100% legit and safe.

You should also restart your computer before you play the game. If you were doing something other than playing the game, this takes up some RAM and causes some lag.

Hope this helps somewhat. :)

Combat arms uses an outdated (and poorly made) engine, so you will not get good performance out of it unless you have at least 3gb or so of ram, and at least a 256mb graphics card, and probably a processor speed of 2ghz> (dual-core, a single core would be too slow and an i6 or i7 would have issues)
