I am doing my mods manually, and i was wondering about the folders the mods come with. for instance, one mod i downloaded came with a meshes folder. a second mod i want to download has a meshes folder also. do i take the contents of the second mod's meshes folder and put it in the first one?

Put em in a folder, copy them -the meshes, textures, sounds, and w/e else folders, and the esp- and put them in Oblivion < data

thats all it is And nahhh you don't have to unless you want it to not take as much time

To install the files you need to place the files in the Bethesda Soft-works folder. The Folder should contain Oblivion. Inside Oblivion there should be Data the Data folder should contain several sub-folders. For instance there should be Meshes, Textures, Sounds, Movies etc. The Bethesda Soft-works folder should be where the game is installed. The location is usually the C: drive. So, go to Computer click the C: drive. then click into the Program Files, after that look for Bethesda Soft-works folder. That's where you should find the Oblivion folder, unless you altered the installation destination.

Hope I helped! :D

When u first start Oblivion u will have a "data" option on the startup screen. Click on that and tick the box next to the mod u just installed.
