Skyrim! Glitch? Everyone is attacking me!?

Question

I finished killing the newborn dragon at the burial site with Delphine. As I traveled back to Riverwood to meet her at the Inn, everything was okay. I talked to her and she told me to meet Melbourne in Solitude. That's when everything screwed up. A thug appeared outside of the inn and started attacking me. Then EVERYONE did! I can't go anywhere without being killed instantly.. it's pissing me off. Help? :/

I hate to say it but it seemed like it glitched out on you, Something you did that was very minimal like say steal an apple that you didn't think you stole pissed everyone off. This is why though they tell you to save often and do not save over your exact same game every time make a lot of saves so you can go back if something happens. With sooo many possibilities in this game it is bound that the developers an testers missed something.

first if you can go to an auto save before or during the quest and save under new just in case re-doing the quest or these suggestions don't work. try sheathing your weapon if it is already then unsheath it and sheath it again. it's the way to yield in skyrim, like how oblivion was the block and talk to the guy thing. if that doesn't work then try talking to a guard and go to jail/pay bounty or do something to do so if that option doesn't show up even if it means attacking the jarl or guard. or if you can run! and then hide (sneak) and wait for the fight to be over and the crosshairs to say HIDDEN maybe no one will attack you then? hopefully onea of these helps. worst comes to wosrt resart i guess... :/
