IE 8 comes with Windows 7. I have disabled the Windows Firewall, I have turned off y virus protection. I even uninstalled IE 8, but the computer is showing that all ports are closed, and I am unable to use Call of Duty in an online fashion, I cannot go online. I had previously used Vista and everything was fine. How do I open the closed ports? Thank you.

If you have Norton Internet Security, you didn't disable it. Norton knows that there is no way to disable without a uninstalling program. If you have Norton, go to google and type in Norton Internet Security Remover. Then restart computer and then it should work.

once you improve interior of an OS to anther version, you will create a sparkling folder named 'old residing house windows", wherein the completed 'records' out of your 'old' version is maintained. So, once you're al performed, ALL that neat 'stuff' would be in the 'old residing house windows' folder. you may (if ya want) Drag and Drop' them to everywhere ya like and delete them from the 'old residing house windows' folder. For risk-free practices sake, make backups first of all 'stuff' ya wanna save. ;-)
