im confused about the movie: Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children?!?

ok i understand cloud has orphans living with him, but why at the end of the movie the wer he takes the little boy denzel in the water and he says wat i think to be the words "papa" am i right??? and why did he say dat could dat be clouds son? and im new at dis so who is the women in clouds flash back or dream or wateva he havin.

I've got the movie in both english and japanese... and Denzel never says anything even resembling "papa". In fact he doesn't speak at all in that scene... he just kind of grunts when Cloud lifts him up and sets him down.



Beyond that, Denzel is most definitely NOT Cloud's son, and that's official from the creators of the movie.



If you get the Collector's Edition, it comes with a mini-novel that has Denzel's backstory. He lived in the Sector 7 slums of Midgar and his parents were Abel and Chloe. His father worked for Shinra, and was warned that Shinra planned to destroy the Sector 7 slums, and was able to get Denzel to safety but went back to get his mother. They were both killed when Reno of the Turks set Shinra's plan into action. Denzel was subsequentially raised by Reeve Tuesti's mother, but was left on his own again after she died. He was later found on the streets by Cloud.



The woman you're refering to is Aeris, and she was Cloud's friend, the last remaining Cetra, and the person who is indirectly responsible for Cloud's guilty conscience (due to her being killed by Sephiroth... a death Cloud believes he could have prevented).

The movie was the thing that got me into the game, then into gaming, then eventually into anime and manga in general. I loved the movie, it is still my favorite. (I already had the 2-disc edition, but I had to get the blu-ray. I can't wait 'til it gets here!! XD) Disappointment? Compared to the game, which is the best game ever, yes. But since I started with the movie, I can't say I was disappointed. And I was a bit irritated with Cloud. But I loved all the fight scenes, especially the ones between Cloud and Kadaj then Sephiroth, and between Loz and Tifa.
