ok ive played several games that have an S rank at the top. what might this stand for that places it above rank A? right now all i can think of that are like that are "chromehounds" and "forza motorsport"

Are you talking about that naruto game? If you are then I don't know. I think it stands for special, cause you have to do missions that are different from the others. Which is why they're "special".
