What is the best Special build for Fallout 3?

You don't need much str or endurance beacuse you are ranged. Luck gives you bonus critical chance. Agility gives good AP.

The guy above me gets thumbs down for telling you to choose Quick Learner because picking it equates to wasted perk. Here's why: you're going to reach the level cap anyway, so what's the point in getting the 10% extra experience? The only thing that happens is that you'll reach the cap quicker. You want real perks? The best ones to get early in the game are Comprehension and Intense Training. Make sure that you pick Comprehension as soon as you can (which is at level four), and if you find any books before you pick this perk DO NOT read them. Getting two skills points instead of one for reading a book might not seem like much, but with the sheer number of books scattered around the wasteland, it really adds up. Make sure that you have all ten ranks in Intense Training. This is the single best perk in the game since you can add one point to one of your SPECIAL ranks. However, make sure you only level these attributes to nine, since you need to leave one rank for when you find each one's bobble head (otherwise the bobble head means nothing). I know it seems tempting, but resist the urge to pick perks that add points to your skills. It may seem like a good idea, but if you build smart and keep an eye out for the books after you have Comprehension, you won't be at a loss for skill points in any way. You want a fun build? Go with a high Agility, high Luck and high Charisma. Tag Melee Weapons, Repair and Science skills. I know that Melee weapons doesn't sound like a good idea, but I did a play through with an evil character who only used Melee weapons and it was a BLAST. With Melee weapons, you can do some major damage with the Shiskebab, one of the deadliest weapons in the game. A high repair skill means you never have to pay for repairs again, and can do the most damage with all your weapons, and a high science skills means hacking more computers, which can lead to to some great loot.
