hi guys

i have been playing warcraft for a while now, ive got to level 25 as a human warlock. ive been doing quests and dungeons etc but heres my question .. i see alot of players that are level 20 and they have loads of really powerfull weapons , good spells with short cast times , very good pets, their armour and weapons look really good and it looks like there really powerfull . now with me i just look like im still level 1 with all the standard stuff on haha , of course i have found more cloaks and weapons but they all look standard stuff . some level 19 owned me in 1 shot the other day on war games and he was twice my power! . ive done countless dungeons to see if i can get any good loot in there etc , ive done quests but still no luck , i feel i dont fully know what to do in the game , that i still dont know alot about the stuff on the game.. the quests are they worth doing ? of course for the leveling but does it grant you some better weaponry and armour . is there an order to do them , i mean will they unlock better places or take me on a story kind of route , i have been tempted to start again and do every single quest as i go along but fear it may be a complete waste of time and end up where i am again . any good advice on what is the best to be ? night elf - rouge / mage etc

sorry that does look alot to answer but for you experienced players im sure its nothing. i have the very 1st warcraft. i brought the battle chest.

thanks in advance , i will be raiting best answer of course

Heirlooms is the key, you can also obtain them from the darkmoonfair.

Firstly, they may be people who have other characters and know what they're doing. They may also have purchased heirloom gear/weapons and mailed it to the chracter. Only high levels can purchase them and they scale as the character levels, are around the equivalent of blue ("rare quality") items.

Second, make sure you are using gear that is meant for your class. Using stuff with the wrong stats won't be of much benefit to you. If you come across other Warlocks about your level it might be helpful to use the "inspect" feature on them and take a look at what they're using.

If there are other dungeons you haven't tried that are appropriate for your level then try there too.

You could also try looking at gear/weapons online to get an idea of what you want and where you need to go to try to get it.

I think at level 25 you can add your first glyph. And whatever they did with the talent trees or specializations, if you haven't touched that yet, look into it.

Many people may have buffs on them or from another player, using elixirs and whatnot. to make them stronger, etc. Also though, the strength of classes often shifts from patch to patch. And it's usually been that some classes may just end up stronger in early levels, but other classes often catch up and pass them later. Some classes in general are stronger right now than others.

Quest gear is ok when it's an upgrade to what you currently have. They tend to reward better gear at higher levels though, even then however the better gear will be from dungeons or special vendors that require other currency or reputation.

When doing quests for gear, try to do quests that are at the high end for your level - the quest name in your log will probably be yellow or red (the hardest). If you're doing quests that the name is greed, or even gray, then you're level may soon be past those weapons being the most useful to you.

Sometimes it helps to search the quest name on Wowhead.com... that way you can also see how long the quest chain is and what's at the end of it. Some of the longer harder ones have better rewards.

Those players have a level 90 character, when your level 90 you can buy "Heirlooms" which when given to a low level character (only on their account) can boost their performance and make leveling easier.

When leveling in a dungeon a player with heirlooms will always out damage/tank/heal you but you don't need to worry about that until 90. The heirlooms stop working at level 90 and that's when you need to work hard again for your gear.

Those level 20s probably have level 90 characters funding them. Most of that stuff you can't actually obtain without having a high level character already such as heirloom items and various higher level enchants. At this point you don't need to worry because it will come in time. Just keep questing and you will get upgraded items, and when you hit 90 you can earn heirloom items to send to your lower level characters to make leveling easier.

Those people have level 90s. The level 90s buy BoA (Bind on Account) armor for their low levels to help them level faster and gear better. Sometimes the level 19s could be twinks (Low level with epically good gear) and can beat very high levels.

there's a particular version of WoW it truly is better nicely suited with Vista then the older variations. at the same time as buying the game, look on the area of the container, on the bottom it ought to assert nicely suited with ninety 8/ XP/ Vista
