I don't own any consoles and my computer isn't powerful enough to play any pc games (I have an old dell.) Is there some website where I can play call of duty quality type games? Maybe someone has a server with good hardware that can do the heavy lifting and I can just play online? I'm tired of flash and java games

cheapest way get a ps3 console then you play online for free, xbox live you will have to pay 50.00 a month to play online gaming, pc gaming is alot of money to buy a good gaming computer to play online.

No, you really do need a console or PC. I suggest you buy a cheap console, say the PS2. You can buy the PS2 for about $30, and the games can be found for amazingly cheap (maybe $5 per game used from some places).

You wont get "call of duty" quality graphics, but there are SO MANY amazing games for the PS2.

Go to:

www.onrpg.com

They have a huge list of online games ranging from low spec requirements to high specs. The forum members have a lot of experience with MMO's, so it wouldn't hurt trying to ask this question on this website either. Of course, you'd get better answers IMO.

Some low spec online games:

ROSE Evolution - MMORPG. Simplest RPG there could be. Point and click. (Graphics can be lowered in video options).

League of Legends - Competitive arena based MMO. Only PVP with an option to go Players vs Bots (Graphics can be lowered in video options).

Savage: Battle for Newerth - First/Third Person shooting game. Big wars Humans vs Beasts. Intense battles that eat up low resources. (Forgot).

Depends how bad your pc is. Im sure your pc can handle games that were released before 2002. You can pick any old games up for like $5 - $10.
