For those who may not know what a bare-boned walkthrough is, all it is, is a
simple step-by-step mini walkthrough. It doesn’t spoil any of the story to you
but is gives you very little detail but all the information you will need to
know for playing the game. It won’t tell you boss strategies and a few other
small things, but it does tell you when you can get some good items during the
game.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ A. AWAKENING ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-When you begin to play the game you have to do some training, you will start
by learning to move. Then 3 weapons will appear.
-Choose the weapon and power you wish to keep. Depending on what power you wish
to keep and which power you wish to loose depends on the status of your
characters when you play the game. For example if you choose the Sword to
keep, you will have a higher Strength. If you choose the Staff you will have
3MP and if you choose the Shield you will have a higher Defence.
-Choose from the 2 remaining weapons and powers you wish to lose. The weapon
that you choose to loose will be your biggest weakness in the game. If you
loose the Sword, your Strength will be a bit lower, if you loose he Shield
your Defense will be a little lower and if you loose the Staff you will have
less MP.
-Now you will be on a new platform, here you will learn how to fight. Defeat
the Shadows that spawn.
-After this you should be on a new platform. Examine the door. Open the chest.
Break the box with your weapon to receive a Potion and Lift the barrel so you
can Examine the Door and open it.
-You will be on Destiny Islands now. Talk to Wakka, Tidus and Selphie and
choose the type of answers you like to their questions. Doing this alters the
way you level up. So if you start at Dawn you will need less EXP to level up
if you started at Midday or Dusk.
-Now your back to Awakening. Defeat the Shadows here and learn how to use Save
Points. You can save here if you think you will need to.
-Run across the bridge that appears to go into a boss battle.
-DEFEAT BOSS: Darkside
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ B. DESTINY ISLANDS ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-After the cutscene, talk to Kairi and collect the things she wants to find for
the raft.
-Collect the items from all around the Seashore.
-You can talk to Wakka, Tidus, Selphie and Riku and battle them to train up
some levels, which is a good idea.
-Give the items to Kairi and take a rest.
-After the cutscene go to where Kairi used to be standing and go through the
door to reach the Cove.
-Talk to Kairi and collect the rations that you need for the trip on the raft.
-When collecting one of the items in the Secret Place you will see a cutscene.
If you talk to Wakka he will show you where it is. The Secret place is at the
base of the tree near the 2 waterfalls. Inside the Secret Place are drawing
and scribbles al over the walls. If you look at some of them you can see a
picture of Donald Duck and a Chocobo that has been crossed out. To me, I
thought the picture of the Chocobo crossed out showed that there are no
Chocobos in the game. Damn, what a shame.
-Talk to Riku at the Cove to choose a name for the raft. Pick any name you wish
and then you get to race Riku across the Cove and back. Listen to the rules
Kairi tells you. If you win the race you get a Pretty Stone.
-Give all the items to Kairi and take a rest.
-After the long cutscene you will be chased by Shadows, you can't hurt them so
run to where Riku is on the small island. After talking to him you will get
the Keyblade. You can defeat the Shadows now.
-Go to where the Secret Place is and go through the door.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ C. TRAVERSE TOWN ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-Go into the Accessories Shop and talk to Cid, then exit the shop.
-Go behind the shop to find the large doors that lead to the Second District.
So go through these doors.
-There are Shadows all over the place. Go back through the doors to the First
District.
-Head into the Accessories Shop and then go back out, now you will go into a
battle with Leon (Squall).
-After the battle you are in the Hotel in the Second District. After the
cutscene, talk to Yuffie about locked doors and chests. Then talk to Leon and
get ready for battle.
-You will be in the Alley now. Not only do Shadows attack you, but Soldiers
too. Soldiers are stronger but they give better EXP and munny.
-Go back to the Second District and then to the First District. Get Potions and
other healing Items and give them to Sora.
-Go through to the Second District. Go down the L-shaped alleyway and go
through the door at the end to get to the Third District.
-You will join up with Goofy and Donald and battle the Soldiers. Time for a
Boss battle again.
-DEFEAT BOSS: Guard Armor
-Once you defeat the Guard Armor, you will get these items in a cutscene. Brave
Warrior, Fire Magic, Dodge Roll Ability, 100 munny and an Elixir. (You only
get The Elixir you defeated Leon)
-By using a Save Point or the exit doors of the First District, you can go onto
the Gummi Ship. Here you will go onto the Worlds Screen. Pick the world on the
top path.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ D. WONDERLAND ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-When arriving on Wonderland, follow the White Rabbit. (The Matrix anyone?)
-Once in the Bizarre Room, push the bed into the wall. Talk to the doorknob and

collect his evidence, which are in the Bizarre Room and Lotus Forest. There
are 4 pieces of evidence. You don't have to collect all 4, but if you collect
all 4, you will get Blizzard and you have a better chance at the next boss.
-Once you have all the evidence you want, go back to the Queen's Castle and
talk to the card in front of where she sits. Now pick a piece of evidence.
Depending on how much evidence you collected, depends on the chance you have
To fight the boss with or without Donald and Goofy.
-DEFEAT BOSS: Cards and Tower
-Go back into Lotus Forest and go through the new opening that was behind the
boulder to reach the Tea Party Garden.
-Go through the door of the house. You will end up in an upside-down Bizarre
Room. You will have to light the lamps in this room by jumping next to them
and selecting Touch.
-Exit the upside-down Bizarre Room and then make your way all thee way back to
the Queen's Castle. You should get ready for the Boss battle.
-Go into the Bizarre Room and then jump onto the table.

Thinking of you, wherever you are.
We pray for our sorrows to end,
and hope our hearts will blend.
Now I will step forward and relies this wish.
And who knows:
starting a new journey may not be so hard
or maybe it has already begun.
There are many worlds,
but they share the same sky -
one sky, one destiny
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ A. AWAKENING [kh:fw1] ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Welcome to the game, firstly you will see a very cool FMV, which doesn’t seem
to make much sense. Then you will see our main character, Sora. He appears to
be on some sort of platform. Then he will hear a voice. The voice will tell you
what to do, so make sure that you do what it says. This part of the game is
your training so you can get a basic feel for the game. First you will be
taught how to move. So move to the center of the platform and then 3 weapons
will appear. What you have to do here is choose a weapon, this is the weapon
that you keep. Then you will have to choose a weapon you wish to lose, this is
the power that won’t be strong with you. Depending on what you are choosing
depends on your status in the game, see the table below for all the info. For
example: If you choose the Sword, your Strength will be a bit higher, if you
choose he Shield your Defense will be a little higher and if you loose the
Staff you will have more MP. Then If you loose the Sword, your Strength will be
a bit lower, if you loose he Shield your Defense will be a little lower and if
you loose the Staff you will have less MP.
--------------------------------------------
| KEEP | LOSE | MP | STR | DEF | AP |
|---------|----------|-----|-----|-----|-----|
| Shield | Staff | 2 | 5 | 4 | 1 |
| Shield | Sword | 2 | 4 | 4 | 3 |
| Staff | Shield | 3 | 5 | 1 | 3 |
| Staff | Sword | 3 | 3 | 3 | 3 |
| Sword | Shield | 2 | 6 | 1 | 3 |
| Sword | Staff | 2 | 6 | 2 | 1 |
--------------------------------------------
Now you will go to a new platform. The voice this time will tell you how to
fight. The weapon that you chose earlier is what you will use to fight with.
Then some stranger creatures will appear, so fight them off with your weapon,
this shouldn’t be too hard. Once that is done you will go to the next platform.
On this platform you will see a door, which is slightly transparent. Go over
and learn how you can examine things. Then a treasure chest will appear. Walk
over to it and open it the way that you examined the door. Then smash open the
box with your weapon so you get a Potion. Then a barrel will appear so you pick
it up or break it if you want. By now the door will be solid so you can open it
now. So go through it to the next area.
We are on Destiny Islands now. Here is where you can also change the coarse of
the game. Here you have to answer 3 questions that each of the 3 characters
here will ask you. Depending on the answer that you give then depends on how
fast that you will level up in the game. If you want to the level up quickly
you should pick all of the top answers. If you want to the level up normally
you should pick all of the middle answers and if you want to the level up
slowly you should pick all of the bottom answers. Or you could just see the
table below on how fast you will level up when you have answered all 3
questions because the voice will tell you what time your adventure will start.
------------------------------
| DAWN | Easy Leveling Up |
| MIDDAY | Medium Leveling Up |
| DUSK | Hard Leveling Up |
------------------------------
Now we are back in this place again. So on this next platform defeat all of the
Heartless here and then you will be tough on how you can use Save Points. You
can save your progress here if you want to. Then when the bridge appears go
along it to reach your first boss battle, don’t worry, he’s weak.
==============================================
| BOSS: Darkside |
| Attacks: -Shadow Summon -Heart of Darkness |
===============================================================================
Darkside is a huge black monster with glowing eyes and a bad temper. To beat
him you have to Lock-On to his wrists and slash away at them. It’s best to
Lock-On to his right hand. When he uses Shadow Summon he digs his hand into the
ground and a few Shadows will come out and attack you. You need to kill them
off first so they are out of the way. When he goes on his knees he will use
heart of Darkness, which he shoots several balls of darkness that home-in on
you. If you can hit them back you can get some Tech Points. But just keep
hacking at his wrists. When the battle is over it will be time to wake up.
===============================================================================
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ B. DESTINY ISLANDS [kh:fw2] ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What a strange dream. Sora will wake on the beach and you will meet up with the
next character, she is one of Sora’s best friends and her name is Kairi. After
you talk to her you will meet up with the next friend who is Riku. Then Sora,
Riku and Kairi will race each other. Then when you gain control of Sora again
Kairi will ask you to find some supplies for the raft. So see the table below
on the location of the items. Then when you’re finished give them to her but
tell her you don’t want to call it a day yet. Even if you did call it a day you
can still battle these guys on the next day as well.
------------------------------------
| LOG: On the beach |
| LOG: On the island where Riku is |
| ROPE: On the platform behind Tidus |
| CLOTH: In the big tree-house |
------------------------------------
If you didn’t call it a day yet or you haven’t finished looking for the item
yet you can talk to the other children of the beach. Then you can talk to them
a second time and then you can fight them. This is a good way to gain up some
levels easy and practice some more on the fighting. See all the fight files
below on fighting the other children and the best way to fight.
=============================================
| FIGHT FILE: Selphie |
| Attacks: -Jump Hit -Tornado Swing -Swing |
===============================================================================
Selphie is the easiest child to defeat out of the 4. She uses her skipping rope
(or jump rope) as her weapon. Selphie is also the best way to gain levels
quickly, but I’ll explain that in a minute. The way to beat her is to charge
into her. Then attack. It is fairly easy to deflect her attacks with your
Wooden Sword. When she uses her Tornado Swing she runs towards you while
swinging the rope around her, she doesn’t stop doing this until you either
deflect it or she hits you. Now it’s time to tell you about the leveling up.
This is how you level up very quickly. Now all you have to do is start a battle
and wait for her to use the Jump Swing. She jumps towards you and swings the
rope at you. Now you swing your sword at the right time you should deflect it
and it will hit her as well. This will get you 2 Tech Points. Now while she is
staggering you runs about 5 feet away and she should do another Jump Swing. So
repeat these steps over and over again until you don’t feel like fighting
anymore. This is also a great way to level up because there is a glitch in the
game for this way of fighting. When she gets hit with her rope she looses some
HP. But when her HP is 0 even when she is hit with her own rope she doesn’t get
KOed. So the battle goes on forever.
===============================================================================
=============================================================
| FIGHT FILE: Wakka |
| Attacks: -Swing Punch -Sneak Attack -Throw -Super Throw |
===============================================================================
Wakka is the next character we’re going to have a look at. Wakka is pretty
easy. He uses his Blitzball for a long-range attack. O the great thing about
this is that you can dodge the thrown ball pretty easy. So just get close to
him and start slapping him. But this is when he can both jump back and throw
the Blitball or he can use his Spin Punch. When Wakka is using his Sneak Attack
he will slowly walk towards you and when he gets close he jumps back and throws
the ball at you. He won’t stop sneaking until he attacks you. When he uses his
Super Throw he will yell out “Take this!” and jump into the air and throw the
ball. The balls will make a blueish glow and move faster through the air (The
attack reminds me of Wither Pass from FFX). Now you can smash back the ball
with your sword if you swing at the right time. You will get some Tech Points
for it too and if you deflect the ball and it hits Wakka he will start throwing
balls into the air rather dazed. If you deflect back a Super Throw you will get
more Tech Points.
===============================================================================
=============================================================================
| FIGHT FILE: Tidus |
| Attacks: -Spin Attack -Horizontal Swing -Vertical Swing -Back Flip Swing |
===============================================================================
Tidus is a little tougher than he looks. He uses a close-range weapon like you
so this is going to be a quick and hard fight. The best thing to do when it
comes to fighting Tidus is to wait for him to attack and dodge it then attack
him while he is getting ready for his next attack. You will have to be on your
toes when it comes to fighting Tidus because he is very quick, so you need to
be equal and faster than him. It may take a little practice to get dodging and
your speed better but soon enough you will be doing it easily.
==============================================================================
=======================================
| FIGHT FILE: Riku |
| Attacks: -Swing -Drop Kick -Vortex |
===============================================================================
I can’t decide if Riku is stronger or weaker than Tidus, but they fight
similar. Riku has the same weapon as you, A Wooden Sword. Swing will do a
normal amount of damage to you and so will Vortex. I think that his strongest
attack may be his Drop Kick. When you do a combo on him he will fall back. You
will have to quickly move to the left or right straight after a combo because
he jumps back up and kicks you. This does quiet a bit of damage so you will
need to be quick with this. Also Riku can jump really high and far. So running
away will only get you so far. Also if you fall off the little island that you
fight on you will automatically lose the fight so try to stay in the middle of
it.
===============================================================================
Then after you talk to Kairi and you call it a day you will see another
cutscene. Then after that is done you will jump onto the pier from your boat
now it’s time for you to get some more things for Kairi. So go over to the area
where she was standing yesterday and then go through the door. This is the Cove
area. Now go to the raft and talk to her and she will ask you to collect some
supplies. So read the table below to get the items.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
| MUSHROOM: In the bushes at the base of the flying fox. |
| MUSHROOM: Push the rock in front of the cave near Kairi. |
| MUSHROOM: In the secret place that Wakka shows you. |
| COCONUTS: Hit the trees near Kairi and pick up the green ones. |
| DRINKING WATER: Walk up to the waterfalls behind Wakka. |
| FISH: In the sea on the other side of the island. |
| SEAGULL EGG: In the smaller tree at the entrance to the Seaside Shack. |
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
When collecting one of the items in the Secret Place you will see a cutscene.
If you talk to Wakka he will show you where it is. The Secret place is at the
base of the tree near the 2 waterfalls. Inside the Secret Place are drawing and
scribbles al over the walls. If you look at some of them you can see a picture
of Donald Duck and a Chocobo that has been crossed out. To me, I thought the
picture of the Chocobo crossed out showed that there are no Chocobos in the
game. Damn, what a shame. Then when you pick up that mushroom you will meet a
stranger. He will say some pretty stranger things to you and then he will
disappear. So when you are done go to the cove and talk to Riku and he wants to
name the raft the Highwind. Choose your own name and then you will have to race
Riku across the cove, touch the giant star and then run back. The first person
back will get to name the raft. If this is the first time you are playing, it
might be hard for you to win but try your best. If you win the race you will
get a Pretty Stone from Kairi.
Now go back to where the flying fox is. Do you see the box in the bushes near
it? Pick it up and put in against the wall on this part of land. There is a cut
out piece of rock and inside there is a chest with a Protect Chain. If you
can’t see it use the First-Person-View (press Select) and have a look around,
you should be able to see the cut out rock.
Now talk to Kairi again and give her all of the items and take a rest if you
want to. Then you will watch a long cutscene, though it is very cool. Then when
Sora goes back to the island something is terribly wrong. There is a huge storm
and something very strange in the sky. There are heaps of Heartless all over
the place. But with your Wooden Sword you cannot even hurt them, so run as fast
as you can. Now go to the little island that Riku is standing on and watch him
give his heart to darkness. Now you will have the Keyblade. With this weapon
you have the power of light and you can defeat all of the Heartless. So you can
fight as many of them as you want. When you want to continue with the game go
back to the Secret Place and watch a cutscene. Then you will be up against an
old friend again.
=============================================
| BOSS: Darkside |
| Attacks: -Shadow Summon -Heart of Darkness |
===============================================================================
===============================================================================
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ C. TRAVERSE TOWN [kh:fw3] ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It seems that Donald and Goofy have arrived in Traverse Town and when Donald
looks up into the sky he sees a star go out, this is bad, this is just what
King Mickey was talking about. So they go off to find Leon and it seems that
Pluto found Sora in an alleyway and wakes him up. So when you get up you will
gain control of Sora again and he realizes he has made it to another world. So
then go into the Accessories Shop and talk to Cid behind the counter. He will
explain about this town and then you can leave. Go behind the shop and go
through the doors and you will see a Heartless take the heart from some man. So
go back through the doors and then run away from all of the Shadows and back
into the Accessories Shop. Then go back out and you will meet up with Leon and
then you will have to fight him.
========================
| FIGHT FILE: Leon |
| Attacks: -Fire -Slash |
===============================================================================
Leon is a tough cookie, but he isn’t invincible. You can take him out, but you
are going to be tough so listen up. If you have played FFVIII you will know
that you can do more damage when you pull the trigger of the Gunblade, well,
Leon does this for every turn. Also, if you are too far away he will cast Fire
at you which is hard to dodge if you are not ready. But you can tell when he is
going to use Fire because of the sound of charging and by the red glow he gets.
Now you will need to do as many combos as you can before he attacks you and if
you need to heal the best thing to do is to run away around the building and
heal behind them. Though Leon only walks, he can jump a fair distance so don’t
rely on this all the time. If you do manage to beat him you will get an Elixir
later, but the story doesn’t change if he beats you.
===============================================================================
After the battle you be in the Hotel and here is where you will meet up with
Yuffie from FFVII (Aww). Then you will learn about the Heartless, the Keyblade
and Ansem. Then when you get control of Sora again talk to Yuffie about locks
and then go open the chest on the table. Then talk to Leon and some Heartless
will attack the hotel. So get ready to fight.
You will be in the Alleyway where there are plenty of Solider Heartless to
fight. Have a go at fighting them if you want. Then when you’re ready go to the
Second District and then find the L-Shaped alley that will take you to the
Third District. Then you will see Donald and Goofy up in the balcony of a house
and they fall down on top of Sora. Then some walls will appear making it
impossible to escape. So battle the Soldiers with Donald and Goofy and then the
boss will appear.
===============================================
| BOSS: Guard Armor |
| Attacks: -Spilt -Claw Swing -Kick -Tornado |
===============================================================================
Now Guard Armor is a weird boss. You will need to beat him by attacking him
piece by piece. When you attack one piece you will defeat him quicker. I
personally start attacking the feet first. You will know when you destroy a
piece because a lot of HP Balls will drop everywhere, so make sure you pick
these up quickly. Now because Guard Armor has no limps to connect himself he is
able to make body parts spilt away. This is both good and bad. Good, because
you can focus on one piece easier. Bad, because other pieces can go after you
as well. Now when you fight decide on which part you want to fight first (Don’t
pick the torso and head because you can’t hurt it until you have destroyed both
arms and legs.) Then press the Triangle button until the little icons showing
Donald and Goofy are glowing blue. This means that they are helping you attack
that part of the body, so it will be destroyed quickly.
===============================================================================
Once the battle is over with the boss you will be in the First District will
all of the gang. Yu will get 100 munny from Aerith, Yuffie and Leon. You will
also get an Elixer if you defeated Leon in your battle with him. Then you will
learn Fire Magic from Donald and then Goofy will teach you the Dodge Roll
ability. If you have enough AP, you should equip Dodge Roll, it is a very good
move. Now you have the option of going around Traverse Town or leaving. You can
buy some Potions and other things from the shop next to the Accessory Shop.
Then when you’re ready to leave you can use the Save Point in the Accessories
Shop or the doors in the First district to leave.
Now you will be on the world map screen. This is where you can choose a level
to pick so you can fly there. Pick the world on the top and then fly there in
the Gummi Ship.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ D. WONDERLAND [kh:fw4] ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When you arrive in Wonderland you will see the White Rabbit and he is running
late. So follow him through the doors into the Bizarre Room. This room is very
Bizarre indeed. Firstly talk to the door knob and he will say that you’re too
big to go through to the next area, so you will have to use the potions on the
table to make yourself small. Don’t use them yet, while you’re still big
examine the bed and you will be able to push it into the wall revealing the
next area. Then go make yourself small with the potions.
While you’re small you will have to fight the Heartless. There is a new type of
Heartless, which is a Fire Magic Based. This cute little thing is called the
Red Nocturne. When you have fought all of the Heartless you want go through the
opening and you will be in the Queen’s Courtyard where a court case is about to
begin. It seems Alice is being blamed for what the Heartless tried to do to the
Queen. And even though it’s meddling Sora and the gang are going to try to
prove that Alice is innocent. So when you gain control you can use the Save
Point in this area and then enter the Lotus Forest on the left side of this
area.
When you enter Lotus Forest you will meet the Cheshire Cat and he has some
weird things to say to you. Then he will tell you that there are 4 pieces of
evidence that proves Alice is innocent. So use the table below to find all of
the pieces you want. Beware though, there is a lot of Heartless around these
areas. I recommend that you get all of the evidence so you learn Blizzard Magic
and so the next boss is easier.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
| STENCH: Jump on the mushrooms and go into the Bizarre Room land on the |
| cook-top to find the first piece of evidence. |
| FOOTPRINTS: Go to the area with the mushrooms to find this. |
| CLAW MARKS: Give a potion to the yellow flower near the entrance of the |
| forest so you go back to normal size. Jump on the tree stump. |
| Hit the tree with the nut in it and grow small again. Now climb |
| on the mushrooms again and go back to the Bizarre Room from the |
| new path. Jump on top of the cooker to find this evidence. It's |
| easy to see it with 1st person-view. |
| ANTENNA: Go to the mushrooms and jump to the one on the right to find this. |
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Once you have collected all of the evidence that you want go back to the
Queen’s Courtyard. The Queen will put here evidence on the floor and then you
can put yours down too. Because the Queen is lazy she cannot be bothered
waiting you have to choose a piece of evidence to show. If you pick one of the
evidence that you found Donald and Goofy won’t be captured, if you pick the
Queen’s evidence Donald and Goofy will be captured and you will have to fight
the next boss by yourself.
=======================
| BOSS: Cards and Tower |
| Attacks: -Slash |
===============================================================================
This is an easy fight if you have Donald and Goofy with you, if not it will be
a little harder. Now the cards will attack you. You can fight them back until
they are knocked out or you can just Lock-On to the tower and slash away at the
wheels. If you have Donald and Goofy with you, you should attack the tower and
let them fight the cards and if you are by yourself knock out a few cards then
attack the tower. When you destroy a wheel of the tower it will drop a lot of
Munny, makes shore you pick up as much Munny as you can. Then when all of the
wheels are broken, attack the body of the tower and pick up all the Munny as it
crumbles. Then finish it off.
===============================================================================
Now when that is over go back into Lotus Forest and go all the way through to
the back end where the mushrooms are. There is an opening here so go through to
the Tea Party Garden. The go through the door of the house and you will be in
the Bizarre Room, only upside-down. Defeat the Heartless to get them out of the
way and then jump to the lamps and light them up by selecting Touch on the
menu. Light up both of the lamps and then leave the way you came.
Go all the way back to the Queen’s Courtyard and then save your progress. Now
go into the Bizarre Room and get ready for a boss battle.
=======================================================================
| BOSS: Trickmaster |
| Attacks: -Fire Juggling Stick Swing -Juggling Stick Swing –Slam –Fire |
===============================================================================
This can be a tricky match (no pun intended). You can jump onto the chair and
table jump at him from here, problem is you might run into his Juggling Sticks
or he will hit you with them. His weakness is his belly, so you need to stay
Locked-On to it as much as possible. He will go to the stove every so often and
light up his Juggling Sticks. Now they will do more damage than before so you
need to watch yourself. Now when he drops HP Balls, pick up a few and attack
him while he is down. He will use Slam sometimes as well. This isn’t really an
attack but what it does is he hits the table or chair and make them go into the
ground. So you can’t stay behind them or use them to jump on to reach him. When
he uses Fire the best thing to do is run for it. If you can’t reach him you can
always use Fire on him which homes-on if you are Locked-On. When the battle is
over you will get Ifrit’s Horn and a Navi-G piece.
===============================================================================
Now you are finished with this world you will lock your first Key Hole, this is
what you will have to do after each world. Now with that done go back to the
Gummi Ship from the Save Point and then head for the next world on the right.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ E. DEEP JUNGLE [kh:fw5] ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
While you are arriving at the area Sora will fight with Donald on weather they
should land on this world or not and the Gummi Ship gets out of control. Sora
falls from the sky and lands through the roof of a house. Then when he gets up
he goes into a battle with Sabor.
===================
| FIGHT FILE: Sabor |
| Attacks: -Scratch |
===============================================================================
The best thing to do when it comes to fighting Sabor is to keep using combos.
If you can keep combos up he will hardly ever get up. Now because Sabor is a
cheetah he is very quick, so you need to be just as quick when it comes to
fighting up against him.
===============================================================================
After the battle Tarzan will save and he will become a member of your party
you. When you gain control of Sora again follow him into the trees. In this
area there is a Save Point so you can save if you wish and then jump into the
open tree log and tree surf all of the way down. Watch out for low branches,
you can attack these or jump over the. Jumping over them is a better idea.
When you reach the camp go into the tent and you will meet up with Jane and
then with Clayton, Donald and Goofy. So after a bit of talking about the
gorillas in these parts you will be able to leave the tent and explore the
area. Now stay in the Camp and look around the area and find the 6 slides. They
aren’t hard to find and when you have them all go back into the tent and show
the slides to Tarzan and then you will be able to leave again.
After that is done head in the direction of the table filled with science
equipment and go through the exit behind it. This is the Hippo’s Lagoon,
nothing interesting here. So climb up the vine on the tree to reach the Vines
area. Now you will have to learn how to swing on vines. It’s easy, just walk
near one and select to grab onto the vines on the menu. Then just press the X
Button at the right time to jump to the next lot of vines. Then when you have
finished doing this you go to the Vines 2 area.
Now you will see a cutscene about Tarzan trying to reason with Kerchak about
helping Sora to find his friends. Tarzan is speaking in gorilla so no one
understands what he is saying. And being the git that he is Kerchak doesn’t
want to help them. So when you can move again climb up the vine on the tree to
reach the Climbing Trees area. Now find the exit of this area, which leads to
the Tree House. Now go into the tree house and you will see a cutscene with
Clayton trying to shoot a gorilla. Then go over the net and jump down into the
trees like last time and then go down and tree slide your way back to the camp.
Go into the tent for another conflict between characters and then when you
leave the tent the Heartless will appear. Weren’t you wondering when these guys
would show up? These are Powerwilds, monkey-like Heartless, which are really
annoying. They are quick so defeat them quickly. Defeat all of them to get a
gummi piece. Then go into the Bamboo Thicket and defeat all of the Heartless
here for another gummi. Then go to the Cliff from here and defeat the Heartless
here for yet another gummi. Now go all the way back to the Hippo’s Lagoon and
then climb the vine to reach the Vines area. Then wing your way to the Vines 2
area. Then go to the Climbing Trees and defeat the Heartless here to get your
next gummi.
Go to the Tree House and defeat the Heartless AGAIN to get ANOTHER gummi and
then go to the Tunnel and slide back to the Camp. Then go to the Bamboo Thicket
and defeat Sabor and get the White Fang. Then go ALL the way back to the
Climbing Trees. Now you will have to attack the giant black fruit hanging from
the tree in the middle of the area. Then when you’re done you go back to the
Camp by going through the Tree House and Tunnel areas. You should save your
progress because you’re going to be fighting a boss in a minute. Go to the
Bamboo Thicket and then to the Cliff.
======================
| BOSS: Clayton |
| Attacks: -Rifle Shot |
===============================================================================
You will need to keep your combos high and quick when you fight him. He will
shoot you if you are too slow. He will jump back and fire you from a cliff if
he needs to, just follow him up there and leave Donald and Goofy to take on the
Powerwilds.
===============================================================================
=======================================================
| BOSS: Clayton |
| Attacks: Clayton -Rifle Shot -Potion |
|=======================================================|
| BOSS: Stealth Sneak |
| Attacks: -Swipe -Glow Beam -Back Kick -Glow Cutter |
===============================================================================
This is a bit trickier. Lock on to the Stealth Sneak and keep attacking it
until Clayton falls off. The easiest way to see Stealthy is to look at his
shadow on the ground. When Clayton falls off Stealthy, use that same tactics
that you used on him last time. When he is down, focus of Stealth Sneak. Attack
him on the sides if possible, get as close as possible and hit with many
combos, this way you will dodge most of his attacks. Now you could defeat
Clayton or defeat Stealthy first. If you defeat Clayton first the battle will
be over, so you don’t have to defeat Stealthy, but you will get more EXP.
===============================================================================
When the bosses are defeated you will learn Cure Magic and then the gorilla
family will thank you by throwing you to a higher ledge. When you can move
again go into the cave. In here is where you can get some good things, so make
sure that you pick them all up. Then continue to climb up all of the rocks
until you find a cave, so go inside and you will find the Keyhole for this
world. Then you can lock it. Then Tarzan will give you the Jungle King Key
Chain and you will also learn Red Trinity Smash.
Now it’s off we go back to Traverse Town with the Gummi Ship. So find a Save
Point and make you way there.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ F. TRAVERSE TOWN [kh:fw6] ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Doesn’t it feel good to be back? Okay when you arrive go to the Second District
and then go into the Hotel. Use one of the rooms so you can go to the Alley.
Now go over to the water area of the Alley and you will see rows of metal bars
and if you look closely there is a Red Trinity on the ground in front of the
bars, so activate it so you smash through the bars and go into the sewers. Then
go talk to Leon. Then talk to Leon for a second time to get the Earthshine off
of him. Then go all the way back to the First District and talk to Cid in the
Accessory Shop.
When you talk to Cid he will tell you about a book that he has been fixing up
for a friend of his. So get the book off of him and go to the Third District
and go over to the door with the picture of the flame on it. Does that give you
an idea? Cast Fire onto the door to unlock it. Then go inside to the Mystical
House. When you get close to one of the stepping-stones they will begin to
move, so wait for them to start moving before you jump so you know when the
best time to jump is.
Enter the Empty Room for a cutscene and then the house’s owner will arrive.
It’s Merlin from the Sword in the Stone. He will take out his things from his
bag and then talk to him about the book. Then when you give it to him go and
talk to the Fairy Godmother and she will turn the Earthshine into your first
Summon, which is Simba.
Then leave the Mystical house and then head for the Small House, which is near
the exit from the Third District to the Second District. Talk to everyone and
then when you’re done go back to the Accessories Shop and talk to Cid. He will
put the Warp-G on your ship you can now warp to worlds that you have been to
before and it will also open up warps holes on the world map screen so you can
go to new areas and worlds. When you are done you better get yourself ready for
the boss which is coming up.
Go to the Second District and then go through the Gizmo Shop. There will be a
ladder next to you. Climb up it to reach the roof of the Gizmo Shop, there are
plenty of Heartless up here which you should get rid off so they are out of the
way. Then activate the Red Trinity Smash in front the wooden wall and pull on
the rope 3 times so you reveal the Key Hole for Traverse Town and you can fight
the boss. So jump down from the roof and walk towards the fountain for the boss
battle.
===================================================================
| BOSS: Opposite Armour |
| Attacks: -Spilt -Claw Swing -Kick -Torso Cannon -Lunge Attack |
===============================================================================
Oh great, look who’s back and is tougher than ever. Once again, use similar
tactics when you fought Guard Armor. Lock-On to one part, then press Triangle
until both Donald and Goofy are fighting that body part. When you have defeated
both the arms and legs and only the torso remains this is when it can get a
little tough. Now he will use the Torso Cannon. His is when he builds up dark
energy and shoots it at you from the bottom of his torso. When he does this he
usually flies back and shoots from a distance, this is pretty hard to dodge. He
is very quick when he moves now, so do your best and use plenty of combos.
===============================================================================
Now with that done you can lock Traverse Town. So save your progress and head
back to the Gummi Ship and go to the world on the bottom which you haven’t been
to yet.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ G. OLYMPUS COLISEUM [kh:fw7] ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When you arrive at the coliseum go through the doors to the Lobby. This is
where you will meet up with Phil and he will mistake you for a friend of his.
He tells you to go push the block across the room. Try to push it and when Sora
says it’s too heavy go and talk to Phil again. Phil then turns around to see it
isn’t whom he thought it was. Sora wants to enter the games but Phil doesn’t
think he has what it takes, so he puts Sora up for some tests. The tests aren’t
too hard, what you have to do is destroy all of the barrels before the time
runs out. If there is a group of them attack the middle ones and you might be
able to destroy all of them in the finishing blow.
When you complete both of the tests you will learn Thunder Magic but Phil still
won’t let you into the games because you don’t have a ticket. So leave the
Lobby and head towards the exit to the world and Hades will talk to you. He
gives you a ticket so you can enter. So go and talk to Phil again and enter the
Preliminaries. So save your game at the Save Point in the Lobby and then enter.
1: 4 Soldiers, 3 Blue Rhapsodies
2: 10 Shadows, 3 Blue Rhapsodies
3: 5 Red Nocturnes, 5 Blue Rhapsodies
4: 2 Shadows, 2 Soldiers, 3 Red Nocturnes, 3 Blue Rhapsodies
5: 10 Blue Rhapsodies
6: 1 Large Body, 4 Red Nocturnes, 4 Blue Rhapsodies
7: Cloud
=====================================================
| FIGHT FILE: Cloud |
| Attacks: -Slash -Guard -Dragon Fang -Sonic Blade |
===============================================================================
Now Cloud is a fast and tough character to beat. He will slash you and then
guard so you can’t hurt him back. He can jump into the air and dig his Buster
Sword into the ground (It looks like Auron’s Dragon Fang from FFX). And he can
use Sonic Blade. Sonic Blade is when he shoots forward and in a wave of energy.
He can do several at a time, then to finish it up he uses a Dragon Fang. Using
Dodge Roll in this fight is a must if you are going to keep your HP up. Keep
using combos and dodging and the battle will soon be over.
===============================================================================
After the Preliminaries there will be an attack in the arena. Hades has
released his Cerberus and Hercules is having trouble fending him off. So save
your game again and put all of your best items to Sora and some other items to
Donald and Goofy, then enter the arena again.
===========================================================
| BOSS: Cerberus |
| Attacks: -Dark Breath -Bite -Earth Shake -Energy Blast |
===============================================================================
I hate this battle. This is the part of the game I dread. Okay when the battle
starts Lock-On to one of the side heads. Then start using Dodge Rolls to avoid
the Energy Blasts. When he roars towards the sky, Cerberus will lie down and
start biting. This is when you start to attack it. Attack the side head you
Locked-On to and then get out of its bite range when you finish a combo. Then
when he gets up on his hind legs, get ready to jump because he will send a
shock wave that will hurt you. When he spews dark energy into the ground you
can maybe attack him once or twice but then run away. Staying behind Cerberus
is a good idea at this time because the dark pillar will shoot up at you. So
keep moving and using Dodge Roll. Cerberus will also use Energy Blast after he
uses Dark Breath as a combo. This is why you stay behind him so he can’t hit
you with the energy. When you win the battle you get the Inferno Band.
===============================================================================
As you go to leave the Coliseum you will meet up with Cloud at the front step
and you will have a chat with him. He will then teach you the Sonic Blade
ability, which is a great attack if you learn how to use it properly. So then
leave the world and then you will get a transmission from Chip and Dale telling
you that a tournament is being held at Olympus Coliseum. So go back and enter
the tournament and win it.
9th Seed: 4 Powerwilds, 3 Soldiers
8th Seed: 1 Powerwild, 2 Green Requiems, 2 Red Nocturnes and 5 Yellow Operas
7th Seed: 4 Powerwilds, Guard Armor Legs
6th Seed: 5 Red Nocturnes, 5 Yellow Operas
5th Seed: 1 Large Body, 5 Powerwilds
4th Seed: Guard Armor Gauntlets, 4 Shadows and 3 Blue Rhapsodies
3rd Seed: 6 Green Requiems, 2 Large Bodies
2nd Seed: 4 Powerwilds, Guard Armor Gauntlets and Guard Armor Legs
1st Seed: 4 Blue Rhapsodies, 4 Yellow Operas and Guard Armor Torso
When you win the tournament you will learn Gravity Magic. Then you can go back
to the Gummi Ship and head for the yellow warp hole.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ H. AGRABAH [kh:fw8] ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When you arrive in Agrabah get your Keyblade out ready because the moment you
go into the Main Street you will be attacked by the Heartless, so make sure
that you get rid of them all. Then turn to the right side of the Main Street
and you should see a pole that is inside a doorway. Climb up the pole to reach
Aladdin’s House. Now when you’re in his house go over to the chest of draws on
the wall and push it out of the way and unlock the mini Key Hole that is there.
This will unlock a door in the town. Then go over to the Magic Carpet, which is
stuck under a cabinet and set him free. Now go to the exit that leads to the
Alley.
Once you rid of the Heartless in this place use the boxes so you can reach the
higher level. Then unlock the second mini Key Hole up here to open another
caged door. So go back to the Plaza now and then exit the Plaza to the Desert.
You will meet up with the Magic Carpet again, so save your game here if you
want and then talk to the Magic Carpet and he will take you across the desert.
When you are in the new area that the Magic Carpet took you defeat all of the
Bandit Heartless and save Aladdin from them, now you can add him to your team
if you wish. It seems that he was treasure hunting when the Heartless attacked
him. So then you will go back to Agrabah to save Jasmine.
Defeat the Heartless once again when you’re back in the city, these guys just
don’t know when to quit do they? Then when you have that taken care of go Alley
and go to the Plaza from here. Then go back to Aladdin’s House. Once you’re
done talking save your progress and then go back to the Plaza and jump across
the shades that are on the wall and get to the other side. Make sure that you
DON’T go onto the ground, stay on the rooftops. Then go through the door to the
Bazzar. Then jump across the shutters to the Key Hole on the other side. Be
quick though, because they snap shut if you stand on them for too long. Then go
hrough the newly opened door to the Palace Gates.
=================================================================
| BOSS: Pot Centipede |
| Attack: -Summon Pot Spiders -Antenna Shock -Tail Shock -Bite |
===============================================================================
There are a LOT of Pot Spiders that come to life during this battle and it's a
good idea that you take them all out first. Then lock onto either the head or
the tail of the Pot Centipede and start to attack. Be careful of its bite. The
battle will be over pretty quick. You will receive a Ray of Light for your
troubles.
===============================================================================
Head to Aladdin's House and there will be a man there who will sell you good
healing items. Buy a few Potions if you are running low. Save you game and then
head to the Desert. The very moment that you are dropped off in the desert
DON’T MOVE A MUSCLE! Pause the game and give Sora and the gang some items
because the moment that you move forward a boss battle is going to start so
make sure that you’re ready for it before you fight.
===========================================================
| BOSS: Tiger Head |
| Attacks: -Summon Bandits -Fire Breath -Sandstorm -Bite |
===============================================================================
This is an annoying battle. You have to Lock-On to its eyes and kill the
darkness within them. Also, the Tiger Head will use a Fire Breath on you and he
can summon Heartless. If you can jump onto the back of his head and attack his
eyes, you have a good chance. But this is hard to do. Just wait for him to eat
the sand and then jump on his face. When you win, his mouth will open and you
can enter the Cave of Wonders.
===============================================================================
So this is the Cave of Wonders that Aladdin was talking about, man there sure
is a lot of stuff in here. And with all of this tuff is a a lot of Heartless so
keep up your guard the whole time that you are here, because you will be doing
a lot of battling. When you first come in go down the stairs near the entrance
so you can go into the Relic Chamber. This is the underground area of the Cave
of Wonders. Now swim around this chamber and you should find a monkey statue
that I call the jade monkey (from The Simpsons, if you can remember) So go over
to the jade monkey and use the Call on your menu to make him touch it and make
it glow. Now exit this chamber to the Dark Chamber.
Swim up the waterfall in this chamber so you can touch the next jade monkey in
this room. Then exit here to go to the Silent Chamber. Find the jade monkey in
the Silent Chamber and then go to the Hidden Chamber.
In the Hidden Chamber stand on the platform and Lock-On to the pillar. Then you
can strike it with your Keyblade and this will make it break. So then on the
higher floors there will be an opening to a new area. So once you have
destroyed the pillar exit the chamber and then go to the Hall. Now when you’re
back on the top level you will need to fend off all of those Heartless again so
be careful and try not to fall. Then go to the Bottomless Hall. In the
Bottomless hall make your way to the other side with getting knocked off again,
there are a lot of obstacles in here as well. Then go into the Treasure Room.
There are many things that you can get in this room, including a trinity. If
you can’t reach a treasure chest in this room what you have to do is examine on
of those faces on the floor that will blow you up to the treasure. Then when
you’re ready save your game and equip some items and go into the Lamp Chamber.
================================================================
| BOSS: Jafar |
| Attacks: -Blizzard Whirlwind -Spirit -Fire Staff -Fire Beam |
| -Summon Genie |
===============================================================================
An easy fight. You only problem is Genie. Just Lock-On to Jafar and smack him
around when you can reach him. When you are in this battle, don’t go into the
centre area, it’s easier to stay on the outside. This is so Genie won’t follow
you as much and the Blizzard Whirlwind can’t hit you. When he turns into a
green spirit this is a good chance to heal yourself and your characters because
he can’t do anything to you, but Genie will come after you instead. After the
battle you will get a Blizzard Magic upgrade. Talk to Jasmine for a cutscene
and then go around the giant hole to the Treasure Room to save. Then go back
and jump down the big hole.
===============================================================================
================================
| BOSS: Jafar (Genie) |
| Attacks: -Fire -Boulder Throw |
===============================================================================
This is a pretty easy battle as well. You have to Lock-On to the lamp that Iago
is holding and attack it. Jafar will throw fire and boulders at you. If you
need to heal, hide behind a pillar and use this time to rest. After the battle
you will get a Fire Magic upgrade.
===============================================================================
Why is it in a lot of movies and games when the last thing is done in a temple,
dungeon or building is starts to crumble and fall down? Well that’s what’s
happening at the moment, so you will have to ride the Magic Carpet out of the
Cave of Wonders be dodging the falling rubble and other obstacles.
When you finally escape you will get some neat stuff. Including a new Key
Chain, you will get to learn Genie as a summon and you will also learn how to
use Green Trinities. So when you’re. Done go to a Save Point and return to the
Gummi Ship. Then choose the next world in the north.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ I. MONSTRO [kh:fw9] ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
While you’re flying through space you will be attacked by the giant wale from
Pinocchio, Monstro. He will swallow the Gummi Ship. Then when you’re inside you
will see Pinocchio throwing things at you. So when you gain control of Sora
swim across the wreaked ships (I sure hope that’s water and not saliva) and
then go to the ship on the far end with a stair case. Then you will meet up
with Gipetto and you will have a chat with him. And while they’re talking you
will see Pinocchio run deep into the depths of Monstro, so go and get him.
Go to Chamber 1. Then make you way through to Chamber 2. Find the exit to
Chamber 3. Go to the exit to the upper-level of Chamber 2. Go to the exit that
leads to Chamber 5. Go through the exit to Chamber 6. Go to the upper-level of
Chamber 5 so you can now reach the exit to Chamber 4.
There is a Save point here so make sure that you that save your game and then
equip some items if you want. Then enter the Bowels.
================================
| BOSS: Parasite Cage |
| Attacks: -Swing -Hammer Swing |
===============================================================================
In this battle all you have to do is attack it, move back then heal. Using the
higher ground for healing because he can’t reach you from up here. Now wait for
him to swing then go in and fight. Use as many combos as you can so you can
take him out quick. Watch out though because if Parasite Cage gets in a few
swings and they hit you, he can take a bit of a chunk out of you HP. The only
thing I hate about this battle is the fact that Pinocchio is screaming out
“Help!” and “Get me outta here!”
===============================================================================
Then when you’re back in the mouth of Monstro go over to the ship that Gipetto
was on and open the treasure chest there so you learn your first Shared
Ability. When you learn a Shared Ability, which is High Jump now you can jump a
lot higher. A Shared Ability means that all 3 of the members in your party can
use it, so make sure that you equip it from the Abilities menu. Then when you
have tested the High Jump go over the ship hulls and go over to the other side
of the mouth from Gipetto’s ship. Then high jump to the platform that is above
the entrance to Chamber 1. Jump up the platforms and enter the stomach for
another battle with an old friend.
========================================================
| BOSS: Parasite Cage (Round 2) |
| Attacks: -Swing -Hammer Swing -Lunge -Poison Breath |
===============================================================================
Now the parasite is in his stomach, uh-oh someone going to have a tummy ache.
There is no real ‘safe place’ in this battle. The best place to get away though
is on one of the higher up ledges on the sidewalls. One of the most deadly
attacks is his lunge, he holds onto the floor and kicks you, that’s painful.
When he uses Poison Breath it clouds a lot of area so there is no way of
getting away from it. It will slowly take away some Hp for a little while. Not
only will his breath do this, but the green stomach acid around the room will
also do the same. So don’t stand on it. When he falls back the mouth on his
front will open up, revealing a dark core. Lock-On to it and start slapping it
around. It will drop some HP Balls every so often. The only other tips I ca add
are to stay away from the acid and keep your HP high.
===============================================================================
When you’re done with Monstro you will be sneezed all the way back to Agrabah.
You can go to the next tournament, which I recommend that you do. Then when
you’re done with the tournament take the lower path from Agrabah this time and
get ready for the worst music in the game.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ J. OLYMPUS COLISEUM [kh:fw10] ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now you can go enter in the next tournament. So go talk to Phil in the Lobby
and enter the Pegasus Cup. See the Fight File below the list of seeds for
strategies on the final fight.
9th Seed: 2 Search Ghosts, 1 Bandit and 3 Air Soldiers
8th Seed: 2 Bandits, 3 Barrel Spider and 4 Shadows
7th Seed: 1 Fat Bandit, 2 Large Bodies, 1 Pot Spider and 1 Barrel Spider
6th Seed: 5 Pot Spider, 3 Yellow Opera and 2 Green Requiems
5th Seed: 2 Fat Bandits, 4 Search Ghost
4th Seed: 3 Black Funguses
3rd Seed: 5 Pot Spiders, 5 Barrel Spider
2nd Seed: 3 Fat Bandits, 2 Large Bodies
1st Seed: Leon & Yuffie
=============================================
| FIGHT FILE: Leon |
| Attacks: -Slash -Fire -Jump Slash -Power |
|=============================================|
| FIGHT FILE: Yuffie |
| Attacks: -Throw -Throw x3 -Power |
===============================================================================
This can be a little tricky because of the fact that you have to fight 2
characters at the same time. When the battle starts I always go fight Yuffie
first for 2 reasons. 1, her Shuirken is a long-range weapon and 2, because she
is really annoying to fight. The strategy when it comes to her is this. She
seems to like jumping away from you and then throw her Shuirken. So when you
get close to her she will jump away, so you need to get in a combo as fast as
you can so you hit her. The problem with fighting Yuffie is that her attack
will hit you 90% of the time because it homes-in on you. You will have to move
extremely quickly to be able to dodge the attacks. Now both Leon and Yuffie
have an attack called Power. This is when the battle gets harder because their
weapons get bigger and they do more damage. Now when you fight Leon you will
have to keep moving. Leon walks and that’s his weakness, he hardly ever moves
quickly. He does though, do a jump slash attack which can take a big chunk out
of your HP if you are not concentrating. Keep your combos, speed and HP up and
you should be able to take him out.
===============================================================================
When you’re done with the tournament take the lower path from Agrabah this time
and get ready for the worst music in the game.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ K. ATLANTICA [kh:fw11] ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
AHH! My worst nightmares have come true any world but this one! Oh well,
there’s nothing I can do about it so I’ll just have to be a man and put up with
it. When you come to Atlantica Donald will use his magic so you will be able to
swim underwater. Now Sora is half dolphin, Donald is half octopus and Goofy is
half turtle.
Then you will meet with Ariel and Flounder and you will have a talk with them.
Then follow Flounder's instructions and catch him. Destroy the Heartless and
after another cutscene hit the clam with the Keyblade to reveal a Save Point.
Follow the Tridents to the Palace. So you have to go to the Undersea Valley
first. Then to the Calm Depths. Battle your way to the Undersea Cave, then swim
up to the Undersea Gorge. Then follow the Tridents here to Triton's Palace.
Once you're at the Palace, continue to swim forward to the other side to
finally make it to Triton's Throne. Once again there are a few Heartless here.
You can also find a lot of clams in this area. If a clam is white, hit it with
your Keyblade to open it. If a clam is yellow, cast Thunder on it. If a clam is
blue cast Blizzard on it and if a clam is red cast Fire on it. After the
cutscene head back to the Undersea Gorge. Enter Ariel's Grotto then exit it for
another cutscene. Now go to the Undersea Valley.
You have to destroy ALL the Heartless in the area before you can advance to the
next area. Once you have done this, swim near the dolphin and hitch a ride on
him to be taken to an new area; Sunken Ship.
This is one creepy place. Swim into the ship and collect the Crystal Trident
from the chest, then exit the ship. Now be careful. The shark will attack you.
He can be a little tricky, but if you can dodge most of his bites, you will
defeat him easily. Now you have to go all the way back to Ariel's Grotto. A tip
to remember in the Sunken Ship area: When you arrive at this place and there
are no Heartless to be seen, which means that there will be a shark attack. If
there are Heartless, don’t worry about a thing.
Watch the cutscene and then head all the way back to Triton's Throne by
following the tridents on the walls. Watch another cutscene and back to the
Sunken Ship. Examine the switch behind the ship hull and get Sebastian (My
favorite character) to activate it. Now go through the newly opened cave to the
Den of Tides. Head to the Cavern Nook and hit the clams with the Keyblade to
find a Save Point. Then head to Ursula's Lair.
===================================
| BOSS: Ursula |
| Attacks -Buzz saw |
| Jetsam and Flotsam attacks: -Bite |
===============================================================================
This is a hard battle. When she throws a potion into her cauldron you have to
use magic on the cauldron. When the cauldron is blue, cast Blizzard on it. When
the cauldron is red, cast Fire on it. When the cauldron is yellow, cast Thunder
on it. When the cauldron turned white after you pummel it with magic, start
attacking Ursula, because she is stunned, and you can attack her. Ursula uses
an attack that looks like a buzz saw. This can be deadly if she hits you
several times. When you run out or you are low on magic, attack the eels
(Flotsam and Jetsam) to regain magic. After the battle you will learn Mermaid
Kick. Equip it after the battle. Good chance to save the game because you still
have another Boss to fight. Go to the Calm Depths and use Mermaid Kick and
enter the entrance called ??? at the end of the tunnel. Equip items that reduce
Thunder Damage too.
===============================================================================
====================================
| BOSS: Big Ursula |
| Attacks: -Bite -Bubbles -Thunder |
===============================================================================
I hate this battle, but it is a bit easier than the first Ursula. You have to
Lock-On to her fat head and start hitting it. She can suck you up and bite you
and she can blow bubbles, which explode. So she has both long-range and short
range attacks. If you can manage to get on the side of her head or even better,
the back of her head there will only be one attack that can reach you and that
is her Thunder. Which never misses. After the battle you will get the Crabclaw
Key Chain.
===============================================================================
Board the Gummi Ship and head for the world after Monstro.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ L. HALLOWEEN TOWN [kh:fw12] ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Welcome to the best level in the game this is where you will have alternate
costumes so you can fit in with all the other creatures in the game. So when
you’re ready go through the gates to the Guillotine Square. Don't worry about
the Heartless. Walk forward to see a cutscene about Jack. Now go to the Lab
Entryway.
After some talking you will learn about the plans for Halloween this year on
this world. Jack has a theory that if he can give the Heartless a heart he can
make them dance for a show. So when you gain control after the talking you can
add Jack to your team. Now you to have to find Sally. Exit the Lab and head
towards the Graveyard. You should find Sally here and she will give you Forget
Me-Not.
Return to the Lab with Forget-Me-Not and give it the good Doctor. That should
be one more piece to make a heart for the Heartless. Now it's time to look for
the mayor. Go back to the Graveyard. Destroy all the Heartless in the Graveyard
so you can examine the big tomb at the far end. Have a look at it and you will
be taken to the Boneyard.
Talk to the Mayor and then watch the graves. Examine the graves in the order
that the ghosts appear from them. Then the giant pumpkin will blow up. Inside
its ruins is the Jack-in-the-Box. This is the last piece o the Heart that you
will need so once again, you have to take the item to the Lab. So take the
Jack-in-the-Box to the lab once more. Go back to the Boneyard where the Mayor
was. Now Examine the giant cat statue to go to Moonlight Hill.
Defeat the Heartless and get them out of the way, there are a lot here, so be
careful. It’s a good idea if you take all of them all out so they won’t annoy
you anymore. Then examine the tiny grave at the foot of the hill to go across
it. Make your way over the bridge to Oogie's Manor. Go over the bridge into the
door. Light the torch with Fire Magic to go to the upper level. Equip some
items to your characters if you wish because your going to be in a fight. Now
run all the way to the top to the Evil Playroom.
Defeat Lock, Shock and Barrel (Using Sonic Blade and raving with the ability
really helps) then hit the lever with the Keyblade. Go outside the Evil
Playroom and jump all the way down to the bottom. Then search around for the
Green Door. Then enter it. Then it will be time for another battle so get some
items on your guys if you want.
=====================================================================
| BOSS: Oogie Boogie |
| Attacks: -Exploding Dice -Jumping Blades -Spinning Blades -Punch |
===============================================================================
This is a very easy fight. Just dodge his dice and his blades. When you see the
buttons that surround the center pillar light up. Walk on that is nearest to
Oogie and you will trap him, then you can belt him because the fences will stop
him and the platform will rise so you can reach him. The only attack he can do
now is Punch which will knock you off the level when the fences go down.
===============================================================================
====================================
| BOSS: Oogie Boogie and 7 Dark Orbs |
| Attacks: -Summon Heartless -Fire |
===============================================================================
This is also an easy fight. Just walk up the ramps those are on the ground and
work you way up, destroying the Dark Orbs along the way. Watch out for his
lantern, the fire will follow you, and can be a pain. You can fight and destroy
the lantern but it can be deadly, so just go around them. After the battle you
will get a Holy Circlet, Ansem's Report 7, the Gravity Magic upgrade and the
Pumpkinhead Key Chain.
===============================================================================
Board the Gummi Ship and head to the next destination.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ M. NEVERLAND [kh:fw13] ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After the cutscene Peter Pan can join your party. Now exit the room, once again
there are a lot of Heartless in this world so take them all out. You will also
see a Shadow Sora that will float around in some areas, defeat these as well,
because they are jut plain annoying because they just dance there. Then climb
up the ladder and enter the room that is opposite to the room with the Yellow
Trinity in front of it. Once inside, jump down the hole in the floor. Climb up
the other ladder into a new room. In this new room, hop into the shelves and
jump through one of the holes in the ceiling. Use the Green Trinity to enable
to reach a boss. Best to save your progress first though.
=======================================
| BOSS: Shadow Sora |
| Attacks: -Split -Slash -From Behind |
===============================================================================
This is a little tricky. Shadow Sora is quick and can deal lethal damage. Using
Dodge Roll is a good idea. He can sink into the ground and appear behind you,
it is a good idea that you Dodge Roll at this moment. Also when you see Shadow
Sora spilt up into 3 separate Shadow Soras, use Scan so you can see which one
is the real one because the fake ones have very little HP. When you beat him,
you will get a Cure Magic Upgrade and Ravens Claw.
===============================================================================
Examine the trap door in the room and Peter will ditch you. Then save and go
back to the Captains Room and go through The door to the Deck. Press jump twice
to start flying. Destroy the Heartless and get ready, then go through the door
and go through the door in the Captain’s Room to go to the deck.
==========================
| BOSS: Captain Hook |
| Attacks: -Slashes -Bomb |
===============================================================================
Flying for this battle is a good idea. Avoid his sword attacks and his present
bombs he throws at you. Be careful of the Heartless that he summons to his
aide. He is really weak to Fire Magic as well. Don’t get anywhere near the
presents he throws. Also, his slash attacks can do some pretty big damage, so
try not to get in the way to too many okay? After the battle you will be on the
Clock Tower.
===============================================================================
Fly to the side of the Clock Tower that has the wrong time. It will show 11:45
instead of 12:00. So lock onto the hand it hit it to fix the time. Then, after
the cutscene, go to the Save Point that is on the top of the Clock Tower, and
go back to the Gummi Ship. Chip and Dale will tell you that there is another
tournament being held at the Coliseum. But don't go just yet. First, you should
go to Traverse Town and get Cid to install the new Gummi Piece. Once you have
done that, head for Olympus.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ N. OLYMPUS COLISEUM [kh:fw14] ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now you can go enter in the next tournament. So go talk to Phil in the Lobby
and enter the Hercules Cup. See the Fight Files below the list of seeds for
strategies on the hard fights.
9th Seed: 5 Gargoyles, 3 Shadows
8th Seed: 1 Air Pirate, 2 Barrel Spiders, and 4 White Knights
7th Seed: 4 Pirates, 1 Battleship
6th Seed: 4 Gargoyles, 3 Wight Knights
5th Seed: 1 Truffle
4th Seed: Cloud
3rd Seed: 2 Pirates, 1 White Knight, 2 Air Pirates, and 2 Gargoyles
2nd Seed: 2 Pirates, 1 Air Pirate, and 2 Battleships
1st Seed: Hercules
==============================================================
| FIGHT FILE: Cloud |
| Attacks: -Slash -Guard -Dragon Fang -Sonic Blade -Flight |
===============================================================================
Now when you fight
him this time he has a new move called Flight. He will power up and start
flying around the arena and slash you. The only way you can get away from this
is to run. He won’t stop attacking until he powers down and stops. Also this
time when he uses Sonic Blade he will use it a lot. You will receive the Metal
Chocobo Key Chain when you defeat Cloud.
===============================================================================
=========================================================
| FIGHT FILE: Hercules |
| Attacks: -Invincible -Taunt Punch -Implosion -Charge |
===============================================================================
When the battle starts Hercules will glow yellow. This is him in his Invincible
stage, so don’t even think about touching him. But there is a way to stop him
nonetheless. Barrels will appear all over the arena, so pick up and wait for
Hercules to flex his muscles and say “Hey, give up yet?”. Then he will lunge
forward and punch. So stay a bit of a distance away from him when he does this.
Then when Herc is still throw the barrel at him and this will get rid of his
Invincibility. Now you can attack him. When he starts running around the only
way you can stop him is to deflect him when he runs into you using your
Keyblade. Also when you are using combos be a bit careful because if you see
Herc charging up and yelling (DBZ style) make sure you get away fast because he
makes a shield around him and makes an explosion inside it. So you need to get
far away enough to not get caught in the shield.

Learn Yellow Trinity Push when you win the Hercules Cup.

~~ O. HOLLOW BASTION [kh:fw15] ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jump on the platforms to find Riku, You will lose Donald and Goofy, so the
Beast will join your party. Now you will only have the Wooden Sword as a weapon
so you won’t be able to fight some of the Heartless, and there would be no
point anyway because you will barely scratch them. Then make you way up the
platforms and to reach the Castle Gates. Go right and activate the Crystal
Switch and jump on the elevator that appears.
Dodge the Heartless and jump into the bubble that takes you to the Waterway.
Jump into the next air bubble. Release the blue switches and open and close
gates, when you finish this easy puzzle hit the switch the opens the door at
the Castle gates. Backtrack to the Castle gates and enter the newly unlocked
door.
======================================
| BOSS: Riku |
| Attacks: -Swing -Drop Kick -Vortex |
===============================================================================
After all the fighting you have been doing, this battle shouldn't be too much
trouble. Using Aero and dodging you will be able to avoid most of Riku's
attacks. Riku has a new weapon, a Dark Sword. Swing will do a normal amount of
damage to you and so will Vortex. I think that his strongest attack may be his
Drop Kick. When you do a combo on him he will fall back. You will have to
quickly move to the left or right straight after a combo because he jumps back
up and kicks you. This does quiet a bit of damage so you will need to be quick
with this. Also Riku can jump really high and fall. So running away will only
get you so far
===============================================================================
Go into the Library on the left side of the upper level. Collect the missing
books and return them to their rightful place within the Library. Press the Red
Button and go to the upper area of the lobby-type area. Cast Thunder on the
contraption in the center of the room to activate the platforms.
You have to collect the Emblem Pieces to unlock the door. So look at the table
below on the locations of the emblems.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
| 1ST PIECE: Break all the pots to get this piece. |
| 2ND PIECE: Light all the candles with Fire. |
| 3RD PIECE: Activate the Red Trinity at the base of the statue for this |
| piece. |
| 4TH PIECE: Push the statue to find the last piece in a chest. |
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is your last time to save before a boss, so you better do it. Change the
destination of the lift by touching the Red Crystal. Make it go up. Then hop on
the Lift. Then defeat the Heartless here and touch the Blue Crystal to go up.
Now hit the Red Crystal to be transported to a big lift. When the lift stops,
beat the Heartless and touch the new crystal to make it continue. When you
reach land, go through the door. Take the lift up a level then exit out the
door. Now at the Great Crest, take the next lift up. Go through the Lift Stop.
Hit the 2 Red Crystals so the blocks fall and then you can enter the Castle
Chapel.
=========================================================
| BOSS: Maleficent |
| Attacks: -Fury -Summon Defenders -Staff Slap -Spirit |
===============================================================================
Lock-On and attack the boulder that she is using to fly around on. Leave Donald
and Goofy to fight the Defenders. When the Boulder falls, Lock-On to Maleficent
and start to smash her. She may use Fury, which can be difficult to get away
from. And when she’s had enough she will knock you off the boulder and start
floating around again. She may even turn into a spirit and fly around, this is
the time you heal and attack the Defenders.
===============================================================================
Save and enter the warp hole.
================================================================
| BOSS: Maleficent (Dragon) |
| Attacks: -Tail Swing -Stomp -Homing Fire -Fire Storm -Bite |
===============================================================================
This is one of the hardest fights in the game. Cast Aero and hit her head, by
gliding over her flames and attacking her. There is rumble on the side of the
arena that you can jump on and she can't hit you. The only thing that can reach
you is her Homing Fire, which isn’t that strong anyways. When you are ready,
Glide over the flames and attack her head, then when you need to heal go back
to the rubble. When she swings her tail you can jump over it back she does it
very quickly and it does do a bit of heavy damage if used a lot. After the
battle you will get the Fireglow. Now save and continue.
===============================================================================
Go through the Lift Stop to the Grand Hall. Climb up the stairs.
================================================
| BOSS: Riku |
| Attacks: -Slash -Sonic Blade -Dark Explosion |
===============================================================================
Just like last time, keep yourself on a high amount of HP and casting Aero when
you need to. You should glide when he starts doing his own version of Sonic
Blade because it is the only way you are not going to get as much damage. When
he uses Dark Explosion get ready to heal because this is hard to get away from.
Just keep using as many Dodge Rolls and combos you can do and the battle will
soon be over. After the battle Sora will learn Ragnarok.
===============================================================================
Once you obtain control again, you have to backtrack. You can't use the lifts
now, so just jump off the edge until you reach the castle entrance. Then enter
the door for another cutscene and you will be automatically be taken to...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ P. TRAVERSE TOWN [kh:fw16] ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After all the talking, go to Cid in the First District and he will tell you
about a Gummi Part he stowed away. Now head for the Secret Waterway. Look at
the mural of the moon to get the Navi-G. Kairi will give you the Oathkeeper Key
Chain as you leave. So go back to Cid and he will install the new Gummi. Board
the Gummi Ship and head towards the Dark Warphole that appears on the map.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ Q. HOLLOW BASTION [kh:fw17] ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Go all the way to the Great Chapel and then head to the Great Hall. Prepare
yourself and enter the Dark Depths.
=========================================
| BOSS: Behemoth. |
| Attacks: -Lightning -Stomp -Horn Beam |
===============================================================================
This is easier than it looks. Cast Aero and then jump on to his back and start
smashing his horn. His Lightning attack is his only problem because it is
nearly impossible to dodge. Blitz will do a good amount of damage to the horn.
===============================================================================
Now after you have watched the cutscene, go to the Library. Talk to Aerith and
give you the last of the Ansem Reports. Talk to Aerith again to get Curaga. Now
go upstairs in the Library and talk to Belle. She will give you the Divine Rose
Key Chain.
Go to the Gummi Ship. The Hades Cup is now open. Head for your final
destination, End of the World.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ R. END OF THE WORLD [kh:fw18] ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Welcome to the beginning of the end... (I’ve always wanted to say that)
Walk forward for a cutscene. Now walk to the first chest. Opening chests here
can result in battles. These battles can be tough if you're not ready. There
are Invisibles, Angel Stars and Behemoths here, so watch yourself. Once you
have opened all the chests all the way to the end enter the giant white portal
thing. When inside jump all the way down, where you will find a Save Point
(USE IT!!) then jump into the white hole.
Use the white orbs to move to the next area. Use the green orbs to go back an
area, and walk into the red pillars to enter a world. In each world you will
fight a handful of Heartless, then pick up a chest to exit and continue. When
you reach the red pillar that takes you to 100 Acre Wood, SAVE YOUR GAME.
When you end up in a hallway, go into the room on the right and examine the
computer screen for a story, this is a strange poem sort of thing that is worth
reading. What it means it not confirmed but it has lead to many theories about
Kingdom Hearts 2. Then go back through the Warp hole in the hall.
=====================================================
| BOSS: Chernabog |
| Attacks: -Fire Breath -Summon Volcano Lava -Slash |
===============================================================================
Cast Aero, Lock-on and ATTACK! If you can get behind his head it will make this
battle easier. But when he attacks with the lava from the volcano, watch out.
If you need healing, fly far away and then heal. After the battle you will
learn Superglide. Now enter the volcano.
===============================================================================
Defeat wave, after wave, after wave of the powerful Heartless, and the door
will break piece-by-piece. Always stay at a high HP here. After the door is
broken, you will have unlocked the Final Rest area.
Final Rest is called FINAL REST for a reason. This is the last chance to save
and stock up on supplies. You can go on the Gummi Ship from here and come back
later if you feel you are not ready. If you think you are ready, Examine the
door, then open it. This sure looks familiar. Go to the Secret Place and get
ready for a boss.
==================================
| BOSS: Ansem and Shadow Guardian |
| Attacks: -Submit -Guard -Punch |
===============================================================================
This. Is. Annoying. Lock-on and beat the living snot out of him! Keep Aero on
at all times and be prepared to heal. When Ansem says “Submit!” Watch out. His
Shadow Guardian will pick a party member and hurt them every so often. If the
shadow picks you, watch your Menu. Attack will change to Freeze and the shadow
will grab you. Other from that, he's easy. That and the fact that he keeps
flying away from you. After the battle give Sora nothing but Elixirs. Then
head into the mountain.
===============================================================================
=============================================
| BOSS: Darkside |
| Attacks: -Shadow Summon -Heart of Darkness |
===============================================================================
Hey, where has he been all this time? Darkside is a huge black monster with
glowing eyes and a bad temper. To beat him you have to Lock-On to his wrists
and slash away at them. It’s best to Lock-On to his right hand. When he uses
Shadow Summon he digs his hand into the ground and a few Shadows will come out
and attack you. You need to kill them off first so they are out of the way.
When he goes on his knees he will use heart of Darkness, which he shoots
several balls of darkness that home-in on you. If you can hit them back you
can get some Tech Points. But just keep hacking at his wrists.
===============================================================================
============================================================
| BOSS: Ansem and Shadow Guardian |
| Attacks: -Submit -Guard -Punch -Final Darkness -Charge |
===============================================================================
Same tactics as before, but this time you're alone. He has 2 new attacks. When
the shadow starts flying from the ground, just keep running and he won't hit
you. Also, They will charge at you, which nothing but a few Dodge Rolls will
keep you safe.
===============================================================================
==================================
| BOSS: Ansem |
| Attacks: -Lasers -Figue-8 Slash |
===============================================================================
Lock-on, cast Aero and hit away. Nothing special. Just fly away when you need
to heal. Once you have beaten him you will be in darkness. Kill all the Shadows
here and then kill the orb that appears to be back outside.
===============================================================================
Now you have to take out the tentacles near where Ansem lies. Take them out
and go into the new portal. Now you have top kill heaps of Darkballs. Then
destroy the orb that appears, and you will get Goofy back.
Now focus your attention to the head at the front. This will be quick to kill.
Just be weary of its lightning attacks. Remember to just fly back when you
Need to heal yourself. Then enter its mouth and fight off all the Invisibles
To get Donald back into your party.
The shield that was protecting the core will now smash. So Lock-on to the core
(It looks like it has a face) and thwack away at it. Then get ready.
==================================
| FINAL BOSS: Ansem |
| Attacks: -Lasers -Figue-8 Slash |
===============================================================================
Just like last times, only now you have Donald and Goofy with you. Keep Aero
up at all times and heal when you're low. After a bit of slapping, you will
defeat Ansem. That's it. You've done it. Congratulations! Now watch the
credits and the movie at the end.
===============================================================================
If you have locked all of the worlds (including 100 Acre Wood) and you have
collected all 100 Dalmatians you can watch a special clip at the end of the
guide that shows you sense of what is Kingdom Hearts 2. This clip opens the
doors to new mysteries and theories. We won’t know the whole story until
2004/2005 when the game comes out.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ S. 100 ACRE WOOD [kh:fw19] ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As you may know, when you gave Merlin the book that Cid fixed, you opened a
new world. This is how to complete 100 Acre Wood. To find all the Torn Page
locations see the list below.
1 | Agrabah “Dark Chamber” (Cave of Wonders)
2 | Monstro “Chamber 6”
3 | Atlantica “Ariel's Grotto”
4 | Halloween Town “Research Lab”
5 | Traverse Town “Dalmatian's House” (Collect 51 Puppies)
Enter the book and head for the log that is sitting by itself and read the
page to enter it. You will talk to Pooh. Then after that, leave and head for
his house.
Pooh is out of honey, so he buggers off. Examine the cupboard for an Elixir
before you leave.
Enter the Honey Tree Page. Piglet will run into the shrubs if he sees you
coming. So walk behind the tree and talk to him. After a cutscene you get to
play a game. Owl will explain the rules to you. Smack the bees, the after 3
minutes it's over. When you leave the page, it will turn into an item.
Now go to Rabbit's House. Go to the back and then go inside that house and
examine the tiny honey pot in the ceiling rafter. Then try to leave. Oh no.
Talk to Rabbit and then talk to Pooh at the back of the house. The Tigger will
Turn up (yay). You get to play the next mini-game now. When you have blocked
The carrots, Pooh will be freed and the page will turn into an item.
The next part is the swing on the tree. When you head there, walk up to Eeyore
in the river and get him out. Now Lock-On to Pooh and take him to the swing.
(This is a pain) Then follow Owl's instructions and make Pooh land on the
sticks to find the tail. You will get Stopra/Stopga for your troubles. Now for
the next page.
Go to the Giant Pot Page and talk to Tigger and Roo and take their training on
bouncing. Then talk to them again to play the Smash the pot game. Hit the
fruit back to the pot to make it smash. Then exit the page and head to the
last one.
This is the Muddy Path, and Pooh has lost his friends. Lock-on to pooh and
take him to the opening of the grass to find Eeyore. Roo is on a tree branch.
Tigger is hoping on a log. Owl is flying around the top area. Piglet is in the
Tree hollow and Rabbit is in one of the 4 little caves. That's it. You will
Watch the cutscene now. You're done.
It seems that the final tournament is about to be held and man is it BIG. 50
matches you will be in. So make sure that you do your best in them. Below the
list of the battles are fight files for the tough battles you will be fighting,
so read those for an in-depth look on those fights so you have a better chance
on winning. Also while you’re here, activate the Yellow Trinity in the Lobby
so you reveal the Key Hole for this world. Defeat the Hades Cup as Sora by
himself to get the Save the Queen and then defeat the Hades Cup Time Trial to
get the Save the King.
====================================
| FIGHT FILE: Yuffie |
| Attacks: -Throw -Throw x3 -Power |
===============================================================================
This can be a little tricky because of the fact that you have to fight 2
characters at the same time. When the battle starts I always go fight Yuffie
first for 2 reasons. 1, her Shuirken is a long-range weapon and 2, because she
is really annoying to fight. The strategy when it comes to her is this. She
seems to like jumping away from you and then throw her Shuirken. So when you
get close to her she will jump away, so you need to get in a combo as fast as
you can so you hit her. The problem with fighting Yuffie is that her attack
will hit you 90% of the time because it homes-in on you. You will have to move
extremely quickly to be able to dodge the attacks. Now Yuffie has an attack
called Power. This is when the battle gets harder because her weapon gets
bigger and does more damage. Defeat Yuffie to get the Genji Shield.
===============================================================================
=========================================
| FIGHT FILE: Behemoth. |
| Attacks: -Lightning -Stomp -Horn Beam |
===============================================================================
This is easier than it looks. Cast Aero and then jump on to his back and start
smashing his horn. His Lightning attack is his only problem because it is
nearly impossible to dodge. Blitz will do a good amount of damage to the horn.
Defeat Behemoth to get Blizzaga.
===============================================================================
===========================================================
| FIGHT FILE: Cerberus |
| Attacks: -Dark Breath -Bite -Earth Shake -Energy Blast |
===============================================================================
I hate this battle. This is the part of the game I dread. Okay when the battle
starts Lock-On to one of the side heads. Then start using Dodge Rolls to avoid
the Energy Blasts. When he roars towards the sky, Cerberus will lie down and
start biting. This is when you star to attack it. Attack the side head you
Locked-On to and then get out of its bite range when you finish a combo. Then
when he gets up on his hind legs, get ready to jump because he will send a
shock wave that wll hurt you. When he spews dark energy into the ground you
can maybe attack him once or twice but then run away. Staying behind Cerberus
is a good idea at this time because the dark pillar will shoot up at you. So
keep moving and using Dodge Roll. Cerberus will also use Energy Blast after he
uses Dark Breath as a combo. This is why you stay behind him so he can’t hit
you with the energy. Defeat Cerberus to get Thundaga.
===============================================================================
==============================================================
| FIGHT FILE: Cloud |
| Attacks: -Slash -Guard -Dragon Fang -Sonic Blade -Flight |
|==============================================================|
| FIGHT FILE: Leon |
| Attacks: -Slash -Fire -Jump Slash -Power |
===============================================================================
Now Cloud is a fast and tough character to beat. He will slash you and then
guard so you can't hurt him back. He can jump into the air and dig his Buster
Sword into the ground (It looks like Auron's Dragon Fang from FFX). And he can
use Sonic Blade. Sonic Blade is when he shoots forward and in a wave of energy.
He can do several at a time, then to finish it up he uses a Dragon Fang.
Using Dodge Roll in this fight is a must if you are going to keep your HP up.
Keep using combos and dodging and the battle will soon be over. Now when you
fight him this time he has a new move called Flight. He will power up and
start flying around the arena and slash you. The only way you can get away
from this is to run. He won't stop attacking until he powers down and stops.
Also this time when he uses Sonic Blade he will use it a lot. You will receive
the Metal Chocobo Key Chain when you defeat Cloud. Now when you fight Leon you
will have to keep moving. Leon walks and that's his weakness, he hardly ever
moves quickly. He does though, do a jump slash attack which can take a big
chunk out of your HP if you are not concentrating. Keep your combos, speed and
HP up and you should be able to take him out. Defeat Cloud and Leon to get the
Lionheart Key Chain.
===============================================================================
======================================================================
| FIGHT FILE: Hades |
| Attacks: -Flame-thrower -Fire Shot -Power -Fire Spin -Fire Slash |
===============================================================================
Hades, lord of the underworld, and a hard dude to beat if you don’t know what
to do. Now Hades has to phases, Normal and Berserk. But to make it easier to
remember we will say Blue and Red. Blue flames on his body or red flames on
his body. When he is in blue mode he will use Flame-thrower and Fire Slash.
So attack him with lots of combos until he goes into red mode. Now he will use
Fire Spin. This is a lethal attack. He throws fire from his arms and spin
around. The only way to get away from this is run in the same direction as
his fire and stay close to him so you go round faster. When he uses Fire Shoot
it’s like him shooting you, its lighting speed. Defeat Hades to get Graviga
===============================================================================
========================
| FIGHT FILE: Rock Titan |
| Attacks: -Stomp -Bite |
===============================================================================
This is a very easy fight. Don’t let Rock Titan’s size get to you. When the
battle starts Lock-On to his leg and start slashing away. Keep doing this
until Rocky falls back. Then climb up his body and start attacking one of the
heads. All he will do is bite you so just keep your HP up and this battle is
already over.
Your Keyblade is the most used and most important weapon in the game. You will
use these countless amounts of times. But as in most games, as you continue
forward through the story things will get harder. So this means monsters and
bosses will become a lot harder too. So this is why you will need to upgrade
your Keyblade so you can attack with more damage and defeat those tougher
enemies. When you complete a world you may get a Key Chain, these are what you
use to upgrade your Keyblade. Just go to the Equipment menu and choose the Key
Chain you wish to use. This is transform the look of your Keyblade and also
increase some for of status. You can change your Keyblade’s Key Chain anytime
you can access the menus. There are a lot of different Keyblades, some are
long, some are short, some increase strength and some give you more MP.
Below are tables that show you the status of all the weapons and it shows you
To get the Accessories you will have to buy them from the Accessories Shop or
the Item Workshop. These stores are both in Traverse Town. You can't go into
the Item Workshop until you have learned Green Trinity Ladder. So go back to
the Accessories Shop and activate the Green Trinity there so you can unlock the
Item Workshop.
Accessories will increase the status of whoever wears them. They may increase
the Attack or Defense of one of your party members, or they may make the
character who has is equipped slightly immune to a type of attack such as Fire.
Equipping and changing the accessories that your party has is a great way to
fight when going up against bosses. So if you were going up against a boss that
used Fire attack, equip an accessory that would make that character receive
less damage by Fire attack.
The Abilities are very important when it comes to battle. Abilities can enhance
your power and make rare items appear. If you have 2 f the same ability on the
one character (eg. Treasure Magnet can be learned twice) If you equip both of
them it will make the ability stronger. So if you equip both Treasure Magnets,
you will attract item from an even further distance than before.
When you started the game. Sora had to pick between a Dream Sword, Dream Staff
and Dream Shield. Then he had to pick one he would loose. Depending on which
weapon you choose to KEEP depends on the order you learn abilities. So go down
the list to see which abilities you will learn and when you will learn them.
~~~~~~~~~~
~~ SORA ~~
~~~~~~~~~~
There are quite a lot of abilities that Sora will learn. He learns them every 3
levels. None of them are healing abilities but all of Sora’s Abilities are just
enhancing abilities which will make him stronger and make him fight better,
which is good for Sora because he can just use Magic to heal. Sora’s Special
Abilities are al very strong attacks. The best ones to use are Sonic Blade and
Ars Arcanum. Equipping Sora with these will really help in battles.
~~ DONALD ~~
Donald has very little abilities. Most of them are to do with his Magic because
Magic is Donald’s specialty. Second Wind, MP Rage and MP Haste are great
abilities which should be on all of the time during the game.
~~ GOOFY ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~
Goofy has a lot more abilities than Donald. Equipping some of his attacking
abilities such as Tornado and Rocket are good but don’t equip all of them. They
will drain his MP quickly, so having these on with conjunction with MP Rage and
MP Haste is good as well.

~~ TARZAN ~~

Tarzan’s abilities are quiet unique. Having Berserk and his attacking abilities
on is a really big help in battle. Wind Armour is a must as well for having

they way you want him.

some of the magic attack, Applause and MP Rage and anything else if you can fit
it.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Blizzard Magic
--------------
Casting this will make icicles fly through the air. This is a short-range
attack but you can hit a lot of enemies this way.
Thunder Magic
-------------
Casting this will make lightning fall from the sky. This is a short-range
attack but you can hit a lot of enemies this way.
Cure Magic
----------
Choose this when you or one of your party members is low on health. This will
give them some of their HP back.
Gravity Magic
-------------
This magic distorts the gravity of a selected area and makes everything super
heavy. So anything in that area will be squashed. You can also bring things
down which are above you down to the ground.
Aero Magic
----------
Casting this on yourself or one of your party members will give you a temporary
shield. You will take less damage while this is up.
Stop Magic
----------
Any monster close to you will stop for a few second while this has been cast.
While they aren’t moving hit them, though there won’t be any damage the moment
that Stop wears off the damage will catch up to them.

When you have a Summon Gem, go see the Fairy Godmother inside the Mystical
House and she will give you a Summon. To talk to her you have to Examine the
small Pumpkin Carriage inside the Mystical House.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ SUMMONS ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here is a table about all of the different types of Summons. Below the table
there are explanation about all of the types of Summons that you can use and
ways that you can use them in battle.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
| SUMMON | MP | LOCATION |
|-------------|----------|----------------------------------------------------|
| Simba | 2 MP | Get the Earthshine from Leon in the sewers |
|-------------|----------|----------------------------------------------------|
| Genie | 2 MP | Lock the Keyhole at Agrabah |
|-------------|----------|----------------------------------------------------|
| Bambi | 1 MP | Get the Naturespark by completing Pooh's Honey |
| | | Tree Page in 100 Acre Wood |
|-------------|----------|----------------------------------------------------|
| Dumbo | 3 MP | Get the Watergleam in a chest in Monstro's Mouth|
|-------------|----------|----------------------------------------------------|
| Tinker Bell | 3 MP | Lock the Keyhole at Neverland |
|-------------|----------|----------------------------------------------------|
| Mushu | 3 MP | Get the Fireglow by beating Maleficent (Dragon) |
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now let’s talk about the attacks of the summons. When you get the summon gem
and then learn the summon you can find out how to use it in the journal. But
I’ll tell you anyway.
Simba
-----
Lock-On to an enemy and hold down the X Button to start charging. In the
corner where you see the picture of Simba you will start to see a blue meter
charge, the further it goes, the more damage it will do to the enemies around
you. When you think you have charged enough let go of the X Button and Simba
will use his Roar. But you have to be careful because if you get hit by a
Heartless while you are charging you will lose it and have to start again.
Genie
-----
The Genie’s attack is called Showtime. Lock on to one enemy and you should see
little pictures of the Genie on the enemies. So if there is a group of
Heartless, he will Lock-On to more than one. Then use Showtime and he will
cast a rain of spells onto the enemies around. Spells like Stop and Gravity
are used.
Bambi
-----
It says in the instruction book that Bambi can give different items somehow.
If anyone would email me and tell me how and what happens, it would be much
appreciated. Okay, Bambi will come onto the field and start jumping around and
items will fly everywhere. For me, Bambi only seems to make Magic Balls appear.
Thanks to some emails it has been confirmed. When you summon Bambi he has 2
bars. A yellow and blue one. Every time you defeat a Heartless the blue bar
will fill up a little bit, when you fill it up all of the way you will get an
item. The items get better and better as you defeat more Heartless while he is
summoned. But if you are to lose Bambi, you will have to start collecting from
bad to good when you summon him again. So the best place to go is a place where
there is a lot of Heartless that you can kill quickly. I always use the Gizmo
Shop.
Dumbo
-----
When you summon Dumbo you will shrink so you can ride on his back. Then you
gain control of Dumbo. Fly around and Lock-On to Heartless and attack them with
your water blast.
Tinker Bell
-----------
Tinker Bell will fly around you party and heal you every so often. This is
great for those really hard battles.
Mushu
-----
My personal favorite. I loved Mushu in Mulan. What? Don’t look at me like that.
Well, when Mushu is summoned he will sit on your head and wait for commands.
When you Lock-On to an enemy you can pick Fire Breath and he will shoot
multiple fireballs at the enemy. Just hold down the X Button for a constant
attack.

Now that’s all of the items and ingredients for them, but how about finding
those ingredients. Well, below is a list of the Synth Items and what types of
Heartless that drop them. Some of these items are fairly hard to get though.
So I highly recommend that you equip Lucky Strike on all of your characters
so you have a good chance on picking them up.

This is the section where fellow reader have sent in their strategies for the 4
Optional Bosses. Fell free to send in your own.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ KURT ZISA ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
To fight Kurt Zisa go back to Agrabah and then go into Aladdin’s house. You
will see the magic carpet jumping around. Talk to him and he will give you a
ride, then the battle will begin.
Conel Trezach's Tips:
“Summon Tinker Bell the moment the battle starts before Kurt uses `Never
Again'. If you fail to do this, wait until it wears off. (When you destroy the
two orbs in his hands) then cast Tinker Bell.”
Evan Nesbitt’s Tips:
“Gravity does the most damage on Kurt’s shield.”
My Tips:
“Equip Dodge Roll, MP Haste, MP Rage, Air Combo Plus, Combo Plus and Ariel
Sweep.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ PHANTOM ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Go to the cabin of the ship and you will see Tinker Bell in the corner of the
room, she will tell Peter that there is something wrong at the Clock Tower.
Now you will fly there and have to fight the Phantom.
Conel Trezach's Tips:
“Cast stop on the hand of Big Ben, this will stop the death timer. Use Donald
and Peter Pan. For your shortcut spells have Blizzaga, Firaga and Thundaga. If
the heart in his robe is red use Firaga, blue Blizzaga and yellow Thundaga. If
it is silver(kinda blue but not really) use the Keyblade.”
phoenixplatinum7's Tips:
“First go to the clock tower in Neverland to find him. Once the battle
starts, cast Aero/Aerora/Aeroga (which ever you have). Under him is an orb
that changes color. Depending on which color it is, he will have that one
weakness. Here are the colors: White, Blue, Red, and Yellow. White means weak
against physical attacks, Blue means weak against Blizzard, Red means weak
against Fire, and Yellow means weak against Thunder. He will eventually cast
doom on one of your characters, which means you have to go to the clock and
cast Stop on it because it counts down the time. (If you played the Final
Fantasy series you'd know what doom is.) I also suggest you use a long
Keyblade, since he can be quite hard to hit. ALSO! Use a long Keyblade that
enhances magic power! You will definitely need it! That's all there is to
killing him, after the battle, you will receive Stopga. Good job! You're
done!”
My Tip:
“Even if the clock hand aren’t moving on the Clock Tower every so often during
the battle casting Stop on the hands will reset the time. So it will be even
longer until one of your characters is defeat for the battle. You could defeat
Phantom and the hand may never have moved on the clock at all.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ ICE TITAN ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fight him as the Gold Battle in the Olympus Coliseum.
Conel Trezach's Tips:
“Have Strike Raid equipped.”
phoenixplatinum7's Tips:
“This battle is so pathetically easy, all you need to have is block (square
button) and Glide or Superglide. First when he starts out attacking, stand
your ground and block the little icicles. NOTE: DO NOT CAST AERO, AERORA OR
AEROGA!!! HE WILL SHOOT UNBLOCK ABLE ICICLES AT YOU! After you keep deflecting
all his icicles at him, he will fall over stunned. That's when
Glide/Superglide comes in, glide over to him and begin bashing the hell out
his head, once he gets up, stand your ground and deflect all the icicles back
at him. Once he stops shooting them at you, run back up to the stair place
That's how easy it is to defeat Ice Titan!
My Tip:
“When Ice Titan is shooting his icicles at you don’t use your attack against
them to hit them back because you will only hit about one or two because
attacking is quick. Instead use Guard, this move lasts much longer, you will
send a lot more icicles back, so the battle is quicker and the camera won’t be
jumping around all over the place.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ SEPHIROTH ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fight him as the Platinum Battle in the Olympus Coliseum.
Conel Trezach's Tips:
“When you hear him say Descent Harvest Angel hit him as quick as possible. Or
if you are too far away, get ready to use an Elixir when Sora's MP and HP
get reduced to a little as possible.”
My Tips:
“When Sephiroth disappears, you will lose the Lock-On, so press R1 again to get
the Lock back quickly. Also, when he disappears, jump out the way because he
will slash you.”
BansheeXIV’s Tips:
“In order to beat Sephiroth, you must be at least lvl 75. Have two MP Rage, MP
Haste, Second Chance, Strike Raid, Sonic Blade, Ars Arcanum and Superglide.
Also for magic have Aero/Aerora/Aeroga and Cure/Cura/Curaga (which ever you
have). Use either the Lionheart, Oathkeeper, Oblivion, or Ultima Weapon
keyblades against Sephiroth. When the match starts cast Aero/Aerora/Aeroga on
yourself and then start attacking Sephiroth. Eventually he will either use his
explosion or disappear. If he uses explosion immediately use Ars Arcanum to
avoid being hit be the explosion a second time or Superglide away from him. I
recommend using Ars Arcanum because Superglide won't always work. If he
disappears tap R1 to target him before he slashes you. Repeat this until you
here him say “Come”. After he says that he will disappear and then reappear.
After he reappears he will say “Descent Harvest Angel”. This move drains all
your HP and MP. This is where Strike Raid, Sonic Blade, and Second chance come
in. As soon as he says “Descent Harvest Angel” immediately use Strike Raid or
Sonic Blade to stop him. If a halo appears above your head then its to late,
but don't worry. If you equipped second chance you'll have 1 HP left.
Hopefully if you have anything that will heal you then use it. Use elixir if
you have any. After Sephiroth uses Harvest Angel he will be harder to catch up
with and will use Harvest Angel until you his health is low so repeat this
process. He will soon get even tougher but as long as you keep casting
Aero/Aerora/Aeroga and Cure/Cura/Curaga then eventually you'll beat him. Be
careful though. He will sometimes use Harvest Angel if he is almost beat. He
just won't say “Descent Harvest Angel”.”

( ______ ( 18. MUSHROOM SERVING
/ | \ \________________________________________
o^o--==--C| |#######| |________________________________________|
(_) \ |______/ / \ /
(__________( \/\/\/
Throughout the game you may notice a different type of enemy. They will look
like Toad from the Super Mario games. These enemies are the Mushroom Heartless.
They Are different to your normal Heartless. 2 of the 3 types of Mushroom
Heartless are friendly and they won't attack you. It is accentual that you help
out the Mushroom Heartless if you want to complete 100% of your game. So this
section will tell you what to do if you encounter one of these Heartless. I
have received a few emails asking on how to get Mystery Goo. You can Mystery
Goos from the 3 types of Mushroom Heartless. But only if you follow on what to
do when you encounter them. Read on to find out more.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ WHITE MUSHROOM [kh:mu1] ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
These cute Heartless wear white robes and have a red hat. These are probably
the most important of the Mushrooms. Now do you do if you find one I hear you
ask? Well, these Mushrooms love magic so watch them; they do different posses
for what type of magic they want you to hit them with. Read the chart to find
out what magic to use on them at the right time.
----------------------------------------------------------
| MAGIC | POSE |
|----------|-----------------------------------------------|
| Fire | When they are shivering |
|----------|-----------------------------------------------|
| Blizzard | When they are fanning themselves |
|----------|-----------------------------------------------|
| Thunder | When you see a dark light above their head |
|----------|-----------------------------------------------|
| Cure | When they are lying on the ground |
|----------|-----------------------------------------------|
| Stop | When they freeze in mid air |
|----------|-----------------------------------------------|
| Aero | When they spin around fast |
|----------|-----------------------------------------------|
| Gravity | When they are floating in the air |
----------------------------------------------------------
When you cast the right magic on the Mushroom at the right time, you will hear
a chime and they will jump in the air with joy. Now you have to hit the
Mushroom 2 more times with magic. It can be with a different type of magic or
the same magic. If you cast the same magic onto a Mushroom 3 times in a row,
you will get an Arts. The Arts are used to get the Dream Shield for Goofy. You
can also get loads of Synthesizing Gems by helping out the White Mushrooms.
NOTE: When you are going to cast Aero or Cure onto a Mushroom, you will have to
get pretty close to them so you can pick the Target option and use it on them,
otherwise, you will cast it onto yourself.
Now for the locations of the White Mushrooms. You won’t find them straight away
but if you keep going back to that place, I’m sure you will find them soon
enough.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ WHITE MUSHROOMS ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now when you cast spells on a White Mushrooms you make them happy. But
depending on what was the last spell you cased on it, depends on what items it
will drop. Lets say that you go to the Camp of the Deep Jungle and find White
Mushrooms. The White Mushrooms here will allow you to cast Fire, Blizzard,
Thunder and Cure. Now lets look at the possibilities in a chart.
F=Fire B=Blizzard T=Thunder C=Cure
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
|F---F---F, B, T, C | As we can see from this chart these are all the |
| B---F, B, T, C | possible outcomes for the spell casting on the White |
| T---F, B, T, C | Mushrooms of the Camp area at Deep Jungle. So you can |
| C---F, B, T, C | change your spell for time. But the real important part|
| | is the last spell you cast. Depending on what you cast |
|B---F---F, B, T, C | last, depends on different items. These items are for |
| B---F, B, T, C | Synthesizing and these is the easy way to get these |
| T---F, B, T, C | items. It saves having to find Heartless with the |
| C---F, B, T, C | items. The chart below shows the possible items you |
| | can obtain when the last spell is cast. |
|T---F---F, B, T, C |--------------------------------------------------------
| B---F, B, T, C | -------------------------------------------
| T---F, B, T, C | | FIRE: Mystery Goo | BLIZZARD: Mystery Goo|
| C---F, B, T, C | | Blaze Shard | Frost Shard|
| | | Blaze Gem | Frost Gem |
|C---F---F, B, T, C | |--------------------|----------------------|
| B---F, B, T, C | | CURE: Mystery Goo | THUNDER: Mystery Goo |
| T---F, B, T, C | | Bright Shard | ThunderShard|
| C---F, B, T, C | | Bright Gem | Thunder Gem |
-------------------- |--------------------|----------------------|
These are all the different | AERO: Mystery Goo | GRAVITY: Mystery Goo |
items you will get from the last | Spirit Shard | Lucid Shard |
spell you cast on a White | Spirit Gem | Lucid Gem |
Mushroom. Remember, if you want |--------------------|----------------------
these items, you have to make | STOP: Mystery Goo |
sure you cast the right spell for | Power Shard |
the last time. So if you wanted a | Power Gem |
Frost Gem, make sure you cast --------------------
Blizzard on the THIRD TURN.
But these aren’t all the items you can get from White Mushrooms. You can get
Fire Arts, Blizzard Arts, Thunder Arts, Cure Arts, Aero Arts, Stop Arts and
Gravity Arts. To get one of these you have to cast the same spell on a White
Mushroom 3 times in a row. So cast 3 Fires to get a Fire Arts. But you will
have to look further into the game if you want to find White Mushrooms that
allow you to use Stop and Gravity.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ BLACK FUNGUS ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
These Mushrooms will attack you if you get into a fight with one. The only way
you are going to get anything off of them is by fighting them and defeating
them. They will attack you with their Poison Spores. Then they will become
invincible with they turn gray. Don't worry; they do turn back to normal. They
will drop some really rare items, but remember not all of them will drop
things.
Now for the locations of the Black Fungus. You won’t find them straight away
but if you keep going back to that place, I’m sure you will find them soon
enough.
-----------------------------------
| Agrabah | Bazaar |
| Halloween Town | Moonlight Hill |
| Hollow Bastion | Dungeon |
| End of the World | Final Rest |
-----------------------------------
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ RARE TRUFFLE ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
They aren't called Rare for nothing. When you encounter these Mushrooms they
will be jumping all over the place. What you have to do for these Mushrooms is
you have to keep them in the air. Pretend it's like keeping a tennis ball in
the air with your racket. You have to keep hitting it up so it doesn't touch
the ground. So instead of a racket, you have to keep them up with your
Keyblade. This can be a little tricky. But locking-on to them and attacking at
the right time will work wonders. You can also cast Aero on yourself and make
them land on you as well.
Now for the locations of the Rare Truffle. You won’t find them straight away
but if you keep going back to that place, I’m sure you will find them soon
enough.

( ______ ( 19. GUMMI SHIP
/ | \ \________________________________________
o^o--==--C| |#######| |________________________________________|
(_) \ |______/ / \ /
(__________( \/\/\/
To travel from one world to another you need to have a Gummi Ship. Gummi Ships
are built buy Gummi Blocks. You will find blocks in chests, from Heartless
Ships and you can buy them later on in the game. You will start out with the
Kingdom Ship. This is a very weak but basic Gummi Ship. But it will be your
only one. You can however upgrade it until you can make you own brand new ship.
But you don't have to make a whole new ship. You can pick up Blueprints
throughout the game. The Blueprints are Gummi Ships that have already been made
for you. All you need is the Gummi Blocks to build it. Read to find out how to
build a Gummi Ship of your own.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ HOW TO BUILD ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There are 3 rules when it comes to building a Gummi ship.
1: Your Gummi Ship must have a cockpit.
2: Your Gummi Ship must have at least 1 engine.
3: The engines of your Gummi Ship must be facing the correct way.
That's all there is to it. Now you can go crazy and make your own ship. Now
lets get on how we are going to do it.
When you are at the Worlds Screen press the Square Button to go into the Gummi
Garage. Chip and Dale will tell you a tutorial on how to do things. Read it and
try to remember as much of it as you can. Then when it's over select Garage and
then either pick a pre-made Blueprint. Or pick a fresh new one.
Now you will be at a screen where you can see the Gummi Ship close up with a
blue background. Now read below for the controls to use in this area. Trust me,
trying to figure this out on your own is a pain in the butt. There are 3
different modes here. Select Mode is when you have a Gummi Block highlighted
and you can switch between other Gummies. Build Mode is when you have chosen a
Gummi Block and it is on the screen ready to be placed on the ship. Inspect
Mode is when you have completed your ship and you would like a better look at,
look at its status and see if it is flyable.
SELECT MODE | CONTROLS
Triangle | Paint Palette (You will need to buy this first)
Square | Spray Paint (You will need to buy this first)
X and R1 | Go to Build Mode
Circle | Exit
Up and Down | Switch Gummi with others of its type
Left and Right | Switch Gummi Type and colours when painting
L3 | Rotate Gummi Block
R3 | Rotate grid view
BUILD MODE | CONTROLS
Square | Select whole ship
Triangle | Delete ship after pressing Square
X | Select block/Pick up block/Place block on grid
Circle | Delete Block
Select | Help
L1 | Move up 1 row on the grid
L2 | Move down 1 row on the grid
L3 | Rotate Gummi Block
R1 | Go to Select Mode
R2 | Go to Inspect Mode
R3 | Rotate grid view
Up, Down, Left ,Right | Move Gummi Block around on grid
INSPECT MODE | CONTROLS
Square | Check status
Triangle | Button configuration
X | Test Ship's parts
Circle and R2 | Return to Build Mode
Start | Return to Gummi Garage
Select | Help
L1 | Zoom in
L2 | Zoom out
R3 | Rotate Ship
Just a few final things for this section. Remember that the correct way to
point the engines is the way that the blue arrow is pointing on the grid.
Remember that the Gummi Block don't have to touch each other, they don't have
to be anywhere near each other.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ GUMMI BLOCKS ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You can buy Gummi Blocks from Cid in Traverse Town after you beat Deep Jungle.
And as you complete more of the game, Cid will expand his merchandise for you
to buy. But there are some Gummies that you cannot buy and you will need to get
them from other Gummi Ships or from chests around the worlds.

~~ BLUEPRINTS ~~

There are quite a few Blueprints to collect in the game. These are pre-made
Gummi Ships; all you need is the right amount of Gummi Blocks. Where you see
the Blueprints where you have to defeat a certain amount of Heartless. To get
these you will have needed to have defeated that many Heartless and then gone
and freed Geppetto from Monstro. When you do this, he will be in a new house in
the First District of Traverse Town. Go in there and talk to him to get the
Blueprint.

/ | \ \________________________________________
o^o--==--C| |#######| |________________________________________|
(_) \ |______/ / \ /
(__________( \/\/\/
This where I have copied out the Journal Text on the Heartless and have put
down ways to defeat them quicker or ways to help you out in a battle with them.
Shadow
------
“Using Thunder is a good idea because these annoying little buggers like to
attack in groups. So using Thunder Magic on them will injure more of them in
one strike. These are very weak Heartless and all they can do is scratch you.
Shadows are the most common Heartless, but you don’t need to worry about them
at all.”
Heartless that emerges from various places. They sneak up to their enemies and
strike them with shard claws. They are extremely tenacious, often chasing their
prey to the end.
Soldier
-------
“Use a combo, then attack when they're down. These Heartless dance around a lot
and never stay still. If you successfully give them a combo they will be
knocked back. Run up to them and finish them of if they not defeated.
Heartless that emerges from various places. They are brisk in their movements,
and rush into their opponents. However, they are not that tenacious. They often
appear in numbers, though they lack teamwork.
Large Body
----------
“Attack them from behind, or use Magic. I hate these Heartless, They are large
and hard to get behind if you don’t have High Jump. You can also strike at
their head as well. But be careful because when they start to get low on health
they will change at you and this can be hard to dodge.”
Big round Heartless. They seem tame and laid-back, but go berserk when they are
angered. With their brute strength, they can inflict great damage, so be on
your guard.
Red Nocturne
------------
“Attack them with Blizzard. This way you will get bonus Tech points and defeat
them in one hit.”
Spell-casting Heartless. While hovering about they attack by casting Fire.
Having low HP, they keep their distance from their opponents, making them
difficult to attack. They absorb fire attacks.
Blue Rhapsody
-------------
“Attack them with Fire. This way you will get bonus Tech points and defeat
them in one hit.”
Spell-casting Heartless. They approach their enemies by bouncing about and
attack with Blizzard and absorb blizzard attacks.
Yellow Opera
------------
“Use jump attacks. Equip Aerial Sweep. These are quick little Heartless. Though
their thunder attack is weak it still annoying. So make sure you take these
things out quick.”
Spell-casting Heartless. Besides attacking with Thunder, they hurl themselves
against their enemies. They absorb thunder attacks.
Green Requiem
-------------
“Attack these quickly before they use Cure. These things will never be by
themselves. They will always be with a group of Heartless so they can heal the,
you should take these out before you attack the other Heartless or they will
just heal them.
Spell-casting Heartless. They heal themselves and other Heartless with Cure.
They are slow-moving, but hover high in the air and absorb most magic attacks.
Powerwild
---------
“Using Magic is good against these. The Powerwilds are fist and very agile. If
you’re too slow they will dodge your attacks and scratch you. So using Magic
will help you out a lot as well. Powerwilds like to attack in groups as well,
if you can keep them separate they are easier too fight.”
Heartless resembling a monkey. With great strength and agility, they often
strike with combination attacks. Avoid close-range battles with them if
possible.
Bouncywild
----------
“Don't slip on their bananas or you will drop Munny. These Heartless run away
and shot you with their slingshot. This Heartless are pretty fast as well. Fire
Magic works well on them too.”
Heartless resembling a monkey. Unlike Powerwilds, they attack from long range
with a sling shot. They scamper about during battle, making them difficult to
hit.
Air Soldier
-----------
“Lock-On so you don't loose them. These things will fly around you really fast
and then strike you quickly. These things will make you really mad if you can’t
hit them quick enough. Use magic or if you can see them wait for them to come
to you and then attack.”
Winged Heartless. They fly over their enemies and dive to strike them. Their
high endurance and quickness make them tough to beat.
Bandit
------
“Use fast combos. These guys can be pretty quick when using their sword. So
defeat them quickly to get them out of the way.”
Heartless that mostly appears in Agrabah. They can travel under the sand. They
attack deftly with a long Sword. Attack them with caution.
Fat Bandit
----------
“Attack them from behind, or use Magic. I hate these Heartless, They are large
and hard to get behind if you don’t have High Jump. You can also strike at
their head as well. But be careful because when they start to get low on health
they will change at you and this can be hard to dodge. These are the same as
Large Bodies but they can breathe fir at you. The fire breaths are easy to
dodge by jumping out of the way.”
Heartless that mostly appear in Agrabah. They are well-balanced offensively and
defensively. Besides strong physical attacks, they can use fire, and they block
attacks against them. Their movement is their weakness.
Pot Spider
----------
“Their only weakness is physical attacks. These are quick and unpredictable.
You won’t be able to tell how or when it’s going to attack. The best thing to
do is strike them with combos and defeat them quickly.”
Ordinary pots turned Heartless. They lie in wait as ordinary pots, then reveal
themselves and attack when their enemies draw near.
Barrel Spider
-------------
“Use Fire from a distance. Using Fire on them will cause them to explode.”
Gunpowder barrel turned Heartless. They charge into their enemies and explode.
Any physical impact or fire will set them off.
Search Ghost
------------
“Attack hem quickly. These float around and scratch you with their gloves.”
Heartless that mostly appear in Atlantica. They roam in dark areas and emit
light from their eye to target their enemies. They can warp from one place to
another.
Sea Neon
--------
“Use Thunder to defeat them fast.”
Heartless resembling a jellyfish. They swim fast, and attack in numbers.
Overall, they are not tough opponents.
Sheltering Zone
---------------
“Finish it off with Magic so it doesn't spilt up. If you defeat it with
physical attacks it splits up into 3 Sea Neons.”
Heartless resembling a jellyfish. You receive damage just from colliding with
it. They move slow, but break up into many Sea Neons if struck. They fling
their tentacles away to keep their enemies away.
Screwdriver
-----------
“If you can't see it, move quickly they are always ready to change you with
their harpoon so make sure you can see then at all times.”
Heartless that acts with Aquatank. Unpredictable creatures, dashing forward one
minute, cowardly retreating the next. They are invigorated by the sparks from
Aquatank.
Aquatank
--------
“Attack it's sides. For such a big Heartless it sure can attack and move
quickly. It’s very weak though and a few attack with the Keyblade will finish
it off quick. If there are Screwdrivers on this Heartless when it is defeat you
will have to fight them as well.”
Heartless resembling a fish that calmly swim the seas. They are often carrying
Screwdrivers. Leisurely large creatures do not attack unless provoked.
Wight Knight
------------
“When they jump, move out the way and attack with Magic. These Heartless use a
jump attack a lot of them time and it is very frustrating so defeating them
from a distance with Magic is a good idea.”
Heartless that mostly appear in Halloween Town. Their jerky, dancelike attack
moves are fairly easy to dodge, but cause large damage.
Gargoyle
--------
“If you can't reach them, use Magic.”
Winged Heartless that mostly appear in Halloween Town. They can move from one
place to another almost without notice. Since they are prone to sneak attack,
they often get caught off guard by counter attacks.
Pirate
------
“Have Counter equipped. These guys are very fast when they use their sword,
counter will really help you in fights against these buggers.”
Heartless that mostly appears in Neverland. They are quite combative with their
swords. They often just focus on the enemies in front, making them vulnerable
to attacks from behind.
Air Pirate
----------
“Attack them when you are flying it a lot easier this way. But if you’re not in
Neverland wait for them to come to use and then fight them.”
Winged Heartless that mostly appears in Neverland. They are extremely combative
and are hardly ever caught off guard. They attack with martial-arts-like
techniques.
Battleship
----------
“Aim for the hull These things are fairly weak. Watch out for the change
attack it has though, that can do some good damage to you.”
Heartless that fused together with a pirate ship. They attack with homing and
magic projectiles. Attack them at close range.
Darkball
--------
“Attack these quick. You will never know what kind of an attack that the
Darkballs are going to use. They will just float there and then attack. It’s
best to attack when they’re not moving at all between their attacks.”
Heartless born purely out of darkness. Their movements are unpredictable, as
they often make sudden moves and attacks.
Defender
--------
“Attack it from behind with heavy combos. Its shield can bite you and use magic
against you but this Heartless is very slow so attacking it from behind is your
best bet.”
Heartless that mostly appear in Hollow Bastion. They carry an eerie shield with
a face that casts Fire and Blizzard and bits nearby enemies.
Wyvern
------
“Wait for them to come close, then attack. These are very smooth moving
Heartless and aren’t very fast. If you don’t know where they are, keep moving
because it could be attacking you from above.”
Giant Heartless that attack from the air. They are quite swift for their size
and are hard to attack, especially while they are high in the air.
Counterattacking when they come down would be most effective.
Wizard
------
“Don't use Magic on it. Attacking it with a combo will take this Heartless out
quickly but it may teleport away. When it uses it thunder attack stay away
because you can’t hurt it while it’s doing this.”
Heartless that attack with various powerful spells. Eludes enemy attacks by
teleporting, making them tough to beat.
Behemoth
--------
“Jump on it's back and Lock-On to its horn.”
Immensely powerful Heartless. With their large frame, they trample enemies and
repel most attacks. Damaging their weak pint make them lose consciousness.
Strike them with potent attacks while they are down.
Invisible
---------
“Attack with lots of air combos. These are fast and high flying Heartless which
will be tough to beat. If you’re fast enough you can use combos on it so that
it can’t attack at all.”
Heartless wielding a large sword. These winged Heartless can move freely
through the air. Besides their sword, they attack with their tail and wings.
With their high attack power, they often defeat their foes quickly.
Angel Star
----------
“Attack with lots of air combos. When they are being attacked these may run
away and fly into the air. Magic is pretty pointless on these so just dodge
it’s attacks and wait for it to come back down.”
Flying Heartless that cast potent spells. They are born of holy spells. They
attack from long range with magic. They block physical attacks with their
wings, making them difficult to defeat.
White Mushroom
--------------
“See the Mushroom Serving section of this guide.”
Non-attacking, friendly Heartless. They might give you an item if you help
them.
Black Fungus
------------
“See the Mushroom Serving section of this guide.”
Hostile Heartless, unlike White Mushrooms. They attack with poison. Defeating
them may bring good things, but it is not easy.
Rare Truffle
------------
“See the Mushroom Serving section of this guide.”
Non-attacking Heartless that are rarely found. They like to jump, so helping
them stay in the air may bring good things.
Darkside
--------
Enormous Heartless that appeared in Destiny Islands with Shadows. It led the
Shadows in the battle against Sora when he first received the Keyblade.
Although Sora defeated it, the island was swallowed by the darkness.
Guard Armor
-----------
Leader of the Heartless in Traverse Town. It falls apart when it receives
damage, but each part attacks individually. Sora meets Donald and Goofy for the
first time just before fighting this Heartless.
Opposite Armor
--------------
Heartless that guards the Keyhole in Traverse Town. It is a modified form of
Guard Armor, but is more powerful.
Trickmaster
-----------
Heartless that Sora and company encounter while they search for Alice. Its
herky-jerky attacks and juggling act flustered Sora and the others.
Stealth Sneak
-------------
Heartless that attuned to the darkness in Clayton's heart. It somehow
manipulated the light to turn invisible and fought alongside Clayton.
Pot Centipede
-------------
Heartless called by Jafar to stop Aladdin. Its long body is composed of a
number of a Pot Spiders linked together. Even if its body comes apart, it can
regenerate itself by gathering other pots.
Parasite Cage
-------------
Heartless that appeared inside Monstro. It's known to swallow its enemies. Sora
and the others rescue Pinocchio, who was trapped inside.
Kurt Zisa
---------
“See the Optional Bosses section of this guide.”
Heartless that emerged from the Keyhole opened by the princesses. It swung its
six powerful arms to attack Sora and company and block their attacks. But Sora
sought out its weakness and emerged the victor.
Phantom
-------
“See the Optional Bosses section of this guide.”
Ghostlike Heartless that haunted the clock tower standing far away from
Neverland. Fluttering its eerie cloak, it cast a spell to take Sora's heart.
Having no physical body, regular attacks were useless, but in the end Sora and
company discovered its weakness and prevailed.

Mini-games are great. I love to play them all of the time. They can be a great
way to cool off or just get you mind off something for a short time. There are
quite a few mini-games in Kingdom Hearts, go ahead and have a read of them so
you might be able to learn something new or tips and strategies you may not
have thought of.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ JUNGLE SLIDER ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
These are parts of the Jungle Slider. When you go to Deep Jungle go to the
Tunnel when you jump down from the Tree House. Now jump into the hollow log
and start playing. The aim of the game is to collect the fruit as you slide
down the trees. When you pick up the fruit you will open up the next area where
you can collect the next load of fruit. There are 5 levels and you can get
some good items if you complete them all. So let’s explain the levels.
Green Serpent
-------------
This is the first level. The first 3 fruits are on the left of the branch and
the next 3 are on the right side of the branch ad the final 3 fruits are in
the middle. Watch out for the 2 low branches, you will loose some HP if you
hit them and you will slow down. Then when you reach the end you will go to
the camp. Now press start and press start and select Reset to start again.
Now collect the fruits again and take the left path when you reach the end.
You will win an AP UP when you collect all the fruit for this level.
Splash Tunnel
-------------
Now we are in a dark tunnel. There are small rocks on the ground that will
hurt you and these are hard to see. Also the fruit is brown here too so it
will also be hard to see. Firstly, the first 3 fruits are in the middle of
the path. Then when you get into the first large cavern the next 3 fruit will
be in the centre. Then continue until you reach the second cavern where you
pick up the next 3 fruits in the middle and make a hard right to pick up the
final fruit. Now take the left path at the end to reach the next level. You
will get an Orchalcum when you collect all the fruit.
Jade Spiral
-----------
This is a fairly easy level. Just make sure you do it slowly because the view
can be a little annoying here. Pick up the 3 in the middle, then the 3 on the
left, then 3 in the middle and the last one in the middle. Take the right path
to get to the next area. You will get a Megalixir when you collect all the
fruit here.
Panic Fall
----------
In this level there are 4 in the middle, then 2 on the right and 4 in the
middle again. Make you way to end and turn right at the end of the level to
reach the next one. You will get a Defense UP for collecting the fruit in
this level.
Shadow Cavern
-------------
The final level. This is a fast level, so you will need to slow down as best
you can. Stay in the middle so you can get the first 9 fruits, the final fruit
is on the left. Then when you finish the level you will end up in the
Waterfall Caverns. You will get a Power UP for collecting all the fruit here.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ JUNGLE SWINGER ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the Vines 1 section of Deep Jungle there is a yellow flower that you can
examine that will give you a variety of games to do with the vines. Pick games
and do your best to beat the times.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ COLISEUM GAMES ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Defeat the cups and you will get the chance to play the cups with Sora alone.
Defeat them then and you have to beat the cup in a time limit. Then you can
choose the opponent you would like to fight.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ 100 ACRE WOOD ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All of the pages to this book are considered a mini-game and are recoded in
the journal. So this includes the Honey Tree, Pooh Swing, Block Tigger, Jumping
Games and Mud Path. Play these again to see if you can beat your score.

( ______ ( 22. ANSEM’S REPORTS
/ | \ \________________________________________
o^o--==--C| |#######| |________________________________________|
(_) \ |______/ / \ /
(__________( \/\/\/
Ansem wrote many reports on he studies of the Heartless. This is section has
them all copied out so you can have a read of them yourself. You will get all
of the report by continuing the story of the game. To get reports 2,4 and 6
talk to Aerith in the Library of Hallow Bastion after you come back for a
second time. To get Report 8 defeat Hades in the Hades Cup tournament.
Ansem's Report 1
----------------
Much of my life has been dedicated to pursuit of knowledge. That knowledge has
guarded this world well. Not a soul doubts that. I am blessed with people's
smiles and respect.
But though I am called a sage, there are things I do not understand. I believe
darkness sleeps in every heart, no matter how pure. Given the chance, the
smallest drop can spread and swallow the heart. I have witnessed it many
times.
Darkness...
Darkness of the heart.
How is it born? How does it come to affect us so? As ruler of this world, I
must find the answers.
I must find them before the world is lost to those taken by the darkness.
Ansem's Report 2
----------------
It is my duty to expose what this darkness really is.
I shall conduct the following experiments:
Extract the darkness from a person's heart. Cultivate darkness in a pure
heart. Both suppress and amplify the darkness within.
The experiments caused the test subject's heart to collapse, including those
of the most stalwart. How fragile our hearts are! My treatment produced no
signs of recovery.
I confined those who had completely lost their hearts beneath the castle.
Some time later, I went below and was greeted by the strangest sight.
Creatures that seemed born of darkness... What are they? Are they truly
sentient beings? Could they be the shadows of those who lost their hearts in my
experiments?
Ansem's Report 3
----------------
The shadows that crawl beneath the castle... Are they the people who lost
their hearts, or incarnations of darkness? Or something entirely beyond my
imagination?
All my knowledge has provided no answer. One thing I am sure of is that they
are entirely devoid of emotion. Perhaps further study will unlock the mysteries
of the heart. Fortunately, there is no shortage of test samples.
They are multiplying underground even as I write this report. They still need
a name.
Those who lack hearts... I will call them the Heartless.
Ansem's Report 4
----------------
The Heartless appear in groups, and are multiplying rapidly. I've provided
them both living and nonliving samples. They've responded only to the living.
They seem to multiply after absorbing something from the living creatures.
Their prey vanishes without a trace.
I believe the Heartless are taking hearts. They are born from those who've
lost their hearts, and thrive on hearts seized from others. The hearts taken
by the Heartless become Heartless themselves.
Though I lack proof, I am confident in this hypothesis. I must also study
their behavioral principles.
Though they lack emotions, they do seem to have some intelligence. How to
communicate with them?
It's just occurred to me: Could they be the darkness in people's hearts?
Ansem's Report 5
----------------
To study the Heartless behavior, I picked one out for observation. It wiggled
its antennae and, as if sensing a target, headed deep into the castle.
In the deepest part of the castle, its antennae began vibrating, as if
searching for something. Suddenly, a strange door appeared. I'd never known of
its existence.
I had a large keyhole, but didn't seem to be locked. SO I opened the door.
What I saw on the other side mystified me.
What was that powerful mass of energy. That night I observed a great meteor
shower in the sky.
Could it be related to the door that I have opened?
Ansem's Report 6
----------------
A massive core of energy lay beyond the door sought by the Heartless. It may
be the ultimate goal of the Heartless. But what is that energy? I have devised
a hypothesis, based upon my observations of the Heartless.
The Heartless feed on other's hearts, and they yearn for that energy core.
That thing beyond the door must be a heart, too--the heart of this world.
There is no proof, but, having felt that immense energy, I am certain. That
was the heart of the world.
The Heartless are trying to take hearts not only from all living creatures,
but from the planet itself. But what do they mean to do with the heart of the
world?
Ansem's Report 7
----------------
I am studying material from the meteors that rained down that fateful night.
What a find! The material is foreign to our world. It is elastic to the touch,
and when two pieces are combined, they bond easily.
None of the records even mention such a substance. Was it introduced to this
world when I opened the door? I wonder how many other such materials drift
through the atmosphere of this tiny world... I wish I could soar off and find
out!
Could there be uncharted worlds up there? My curiosity never ceases to grow.
But I should stop speaking of such unrealistic dreams. For now, there is no
way to venture outside this world. My people and I are all but prisoners of
this tiny place.
Ansem's Report 8
----------------
There is no doubt that the Heartless are deeply connected to the people's
hearts. Further study may unravel both their motivations and the mysteries
shrouding the heart. As a start, I have built a device that artificially
creates Heartless.
By recreating the conditions that spawn the Heartless naturally, I should be
able to produce them artificially. This device is the culmination of all my
research thus far. The machine's test run successfully created a Heartless.
This may be a step toward creating a heart from nothing.
The artificially and naturally created Heartless showed nearly identical
traits. But the two types remain distinct for the purpose of the experiment.
So, I will mark the ones that are created artificially.
Ansem's Report 9
----------------
Simply astonishing! Today I had a guest from another world. He is a king, and
his vessel is built of the material that composed the meteors. He called the
pieces “gummi blocks.” It seemed that my opening the door has opened a path to
interworld travel.
We talked for countless hours, but one story in particular caught my interest:
that of a key called the “Keyblade.” The Keyblade is said to hold phenomenal
power. One legend says its wielder saved the world, while another says that he
wrought chaos and ruin upon it.
I must know what this Keyblade is. A key opens doors. It must be connected to
the door I have opened.
Ansem's Report 10
-----------------
Just as people have hearts, so do worlds. The same can be said of stars in the
night sky. And deep within each world lies a door to its heart. The Heartless
desire those hearts. Born out of darkness in people's hearts, they seek to
return to a greater heart. Yes that's it. The Heartless come from people's
hearts, as does the darkness.
Is the core of the world's heart the world of the Heartless? I will pursue
the answer there and become all knowing. My path is set. I shall seek out the
wielder of the Keyblade, and the princesses.
My body is too frail for such a journey, but I most do this.
I will cast it off and plunge into the depths of darkness.

There are secrets in every game. You just have to look hard enough to find
them. Here is the section of the guide that I have found, so have a read
through for some secrets to Kingdom Hearts.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ SECRET ENDING ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you have locked all of the worlds (including 100 Acre Wood) and you have
collected all 100 Dalmatians you can watch a special clip at the end of the
guide that shows you sense of what is Kingdom Hearts 2. This clip opens the
doors to new mysteries and theories. We won’t know the whole story until
2004/2005 when the game comes out.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~ THE CLOCK TOWER ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There are some secret items hidden at the Clock Tower at Neverland, this
section will tell you all about it. When you have locked Neverland you then
can come back to the Clock Tower whenever you want until you complete Hollow
Bastion for the first time. If you have completed Hollow Bastion for the first
time the only way you can come back to the Clock Tower I to face Phantom. See
the Optional Bosses section of the guide for more information on that.
On The Clock Tower there are doors well above the faces of the clock. If
you come back have a look around the doors on the top and you may just see a
white light above one of the doors. Go to that door and open it to get a free
item. From now on whenever you come back to the Clock Tower there may be an
item depending on the time of your game and the time on the Clock Tower.
There are 12 doors on the top of the Clock Tower, which need to be opened,
when they open depends on your game time and the time on the Clock Tower
faces. Just pause the game to see your game time in the corner.
This is how it works, the hour on your game take away 12. Then you convert
that from 24-hour time to analog time. So if your game time is 27:00 then the
3:00 door will be open, here is a table of conversion.
