Is Action Replay for your DS Safe?

Question

I want to know if Action Replay DS EZ is safe for my DS Lite. For my Pokemon Pearl game.
How many codes I can use in one day so I can be sure that my DS and game will be safe.
What codes that are for certain safe for Pokemon Pearl.
How to realize when a code is bad and it will mess up my game.
What to do if my game messes up or is erased.

What I really want to do is just get Darkrai and Shaiman. That's all I really want to do in my Pearl game. Since i have Leafgreen and FireRed, and I don't care as much about those two games as I do my Pearl, I'd like to get a Mew and Mewtwo from them.
But, I want to know if it's safe. Please inform me. I just got Action Replay in the mail today and now I'm scared to use it because the last thing I want to do is erase my game ]:

Action Replay DS EZ hacks the game (In this case Pokemon: Pearl) with certain codes so you can achieve different things very easily, this is however is not good for the game itself.

I have a DSi, and I decided to use my new Action Replay on Harvest Moon DS..



The only downside was that it corrupted all my files in the game, and still corrupts it even when I don't use action replay.

Well it really matters what codes you are going to use. I have seen people's DS freeze up just from using an AR. Also for pokemon sometimes codes won't work and give you a bad egg which cannot be traded and causes you to have to restart your game. So I would say AR is NOT safe. If all you really want is Darkrai and Shaymin then you could either wait for an event (there should be some soon cosidering pokemon black and white versions are coming out on March 6th) or go to a pokemon forum website (example: www.pokecommunity.com) and trade for a Darkrai or Shaymin.

Ive had an action replay for a while and it never erased my profile for pokemon. its safe, but some codes cause glitches. So its safe, but sometimes not..

yes it is safe for pokemon games just dont use the cheat to walk through walls that one is dangerous and ur fine

Well it can be riskie if you use it too much but every once in a while it is ok.

okkk.it cant messup ur ds but it can corrupt ur save file...be careful wat codes u use
