The sims 3, disc authorization failure? How to fix?

So I had to download the sims 3 game, I honestly actually have the disc which I bought, but for some reason it doesn't work on my new laptop.. so I downloaded the sims 3 razor torrent and the installation was fine, but when i try to run the game it says ''Disc Authorization Failure'' ..I've downloaded this game before and had the same problem, which I fixed.. but I forgot how, I'm running it on Windows 7.. can anybody help?:)

is the file you downloaded in iso format? if yes first mount it using a daemon tool! then install sims3,. next use the crack file! an there u go! ur problem is fixed! :)

I downloaded the sims 3 razor torrent as well and the disc authorization failure happened to me too. I looked up some answers and they all said to download the Crack file of pirate bay. I followed the instructions but it still failed to work. Does anyone know how to fix this

Yea, the same thing happened to me, only I used the base game disk and it didn't work. I got my hard drive fixed, and it started working.
