So I turned into a vampire.....and it sucks (lol). I decided to do Rising at Dawn to cure my vampirism, and I've ran into a pickle here. Right as Falion was about to do the ritual to cure my vampirism, he started attacking me. I had obviously become a full fledged vampire. SO, I fed, to go back to the 1st-2nd stage of being a vampire, so that people won't attack me, and I can have the ritual performed on me.

I go back to Falion to discover that I had somehow lost the black soul gem.....so, I buy another, and fill it with a human soul. I take it back to Falion, and the option that I'm ready to have the ritual performed on me isn't there. It's just stuff like "What do you have for sale?" or "Can you teach me about Conjuration?", all of that stuff. So basically, I'm stuck. I don't know what to do. Is there any solution?

type in ~(upper left shift character) then type the following-setstage vc01 50 enter, continue typing the same thing over and over but change the 50 to 100 then 150 then 175 then 185 and lastly 200 with enter after each time. after "setstage vc01 200" it should say the quest "rising at dawn" is completed. I hated being a vampire and spent the better part of a morning trying to get rid of it and finaly did.

Consult online guide books and the wikis.

I wish I could help you further, but I took an arrow to the knee!

Unfortunately the quest is broken. the only way to fix it is to load it from a previous save, or use console commands to continue the quest from a previous point. hopefully they will patch all of these quests soon.
