DotA Map Not Working!!!!?

Question

i just installed the game warcraft tft.... when i play map i just downloaded it doesn't work.... can anyone help me with the solution?

from what website is your dota map? I'm pretty sure that the maps suggested in dota-allstars.com works just fine. If you downloaded it from a reliable source like dota allstars, then it is your warcraft tft installation problem. Patch it..

I recommend downloading from www.getdota.com. Make sure you unzip it inside the maps\download (if there is no download folder, you create it) inside the Warcraft 3 directory. And also as suggested, make sure you patched WC3 with the newest patch.

Make sure you extract the map to your desktop, and then put it into the correct maps folder in the WC3 directory. If that doesn't work, try downloading the map again.

download the patch form here: http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?articleId=21220&rhtml=true?rhtml=y and install it.

maybe you downloaded the winrar version. just download it again and be sure that download as zip is unselected. than it should work.

did you patch it? go to b.net go patch to the latest version in order to play dota
