Yes, loyaty mission's (even Legion's) count as a mission.

That said, after the IFF mission you can do 2 missions before your crew gets abducted. That gives you just enough missions to do Legion's loyaty mission and Tali's too (to which you can take Legion along for some extra dialog).

After the crew gets abducted it is said that you can do 1 mission before you start losing crew members... but to be honest, why take the chances?

Just do your loyalty missions before the IFF one, get Legion and then do his and Tali's mission. After that the crew goes away and you get them back. Everyone alive and happy.

Don't worry too much about side missions you could have left behind, after the suicide mission you can keep playing the game.

Take notice, you need to do all of the ship upgrades if you want to keep everyone alive after the suicide mission, if you miss even one then someone will die when you go through the relay.

If you don't mind reading up some minor spoilers on the suicide mission then read this wiki:

http://masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Mass_Effect_2_Guide#Suicide_Mission

It will show you the right choices you need to make to keep your whole crew alive through that, there you will see who you should pick to escort your crew back to the Normandy once you find them in the Reaper ship.

SALUDOS!

Yes the loyalty missions count as missions. Any activity that results in the mission debrief is a mission. You have one or two mission after finding the IFF before it's events are triggered, make sure that you have everything else you want done finished before you get the IFF.

I'm not sure about your info. I went to rescue my crew immediately after they were grabbed. Everything I understand says that any mission after the crew gets grabbed gets them killed.

As for the extra fact, that's pretty much true of EVERY order on the suicide mission. But here is an important factoid: even loyal Mordin has a very high chance to die during the suicide mission -unless- he is used to escort the crew back.

The IFF triggers an event (a series of cutscenes and gameplay sessions). you're not allowed to do any mission after this event. To avoid spoilers I won't specify. You'll know what it is when you get there. If you haven't done Legion's loyalty mission the event following Reaper IFF is postponed giving you sufficient time to do his loyalty mission.

So in short, you can still do Legion's loyalty mission.

Note that it's possible to beat the game without casualties even if some squadmates are not loyal. It's more difficult if you don't know in advance how to do it, but not impossible. You can always just do loyalty missions after you've beaten the game.

Hey man, you can do 2 missions after the Reaper IFF, Tali and Legions loyalty quests, then get your *** through that relay if you want to save the rest of the crew

Yes his loyalty mission is after the iff. If you do the iff mission then soon after your crew will be kidnapped by the collecters and harvested if you dont get there in time so make sure you have everything takin care of before the IFF mission.

If a personality shouldn't be loyal, they've a higher hazard of dying, however it is nonetheless possible to get them out alive. It can be much more complicated, although. Quite a few individuals do not even have an understanding of it can be feasible to save disloyal squadmates. If Mordin is just not loyal, he can survive the suicide mission for those who in no way give him a precise job, do not take him to the final boss, and take two loyal weak characters to the boss (select from Tali, Jack and Kasumi). There is one phase where which you could send a squadmate again to the ship. Once more, decide on one of the vulnerable loyal characters.
