Legend of Zelda:Twilight Princess, who is Link in love with?

Who is Link in love with? Is it Princess Zelda, Midna, or Ilia?Explain.
I really want to know who it is I have been playing the game a lot and I have always wondered who he is I love with because he of course cares about all three of them but is he in love with one of them?

There is no canon love interest for Link it seems, except maybe Zelda, as she is the only recurring woman in Link's life throughout almost all Zelda games. Another thing to note, although Link and Ilia's interactions appear to be romantic, it's not as meaning ful in Japanese culture, and it may not have been intended to give the player that thought. Also, Link has not ever shown a romantic interest with his travelling companions, but more of a deep friendship, it's the same with Navi, Fi, and Tatl, so it's probably the same with Midna. Although I didn't like Zelda's role in the story at all during Twilight Princess, I think this supposed to be left up to the fans.

Nothing is canon, so really, it is up to you, the fan. Ilia does seem the most realistic - she grew up with Link. Midna returned to the Twilight Realm forever, so she's out. Zelda and Link hardly know each other. Link and Ilia are childhood friends, and they do care a lot for each other.



Regardless, some people will still ship Link and Zelda, or Link and Midna. It's up to you, because there is nothing canon or official.

It is hinted at, by the game developers, that they may make a more romantic Zelda/Link game in the future and would love to do that. They say that the more they deal with this teenage link, the more emotions are sure to come. Just follow the link and read up on their words. I think that answer is rather plain. There are many pokes that girls in general are attracted to him such as Midna s constant seduction and flirting, but Link appears to only care about Zelda in that way. They do briefly kiss each other, but he is actually only saving Hyrule for the good of the people and not Zelda. He started his journey to save his friends that were taken. IIia appears to maybe like Link and their may be a mutual feeling for each other but throughout history his elders all fell for zelda. So why would he stray from the bloodline tradition?
