Why wont my pokemon learn cut D:?

Question

I have been playing pokemon Emerald and ive beaten the first gym leader and im currently ready to battle the second gym leader. I have a Mudkip, Ralts, Silcoon, Maril, Tailow and a Skitty. I did have a poochyena. But none of them seem to be able to learn cut. Why though? D: are these pokemon no good for it? I though like nearly all pokemon could learn cut :(

Only certain Pokémon can learn certain moves.

However (as far as I'm aware) all Pokémon can learn Return and Frustration.

And Mew is (as far as I'm aware) the only Pokémon that can learn any move.



Sounds like you just need to keep searching. I'm surprised though, Skitty and Poochyena seem like the build to learn Cut. But maybe they need to evolve first? Catch a Zigzagoon or something, I'm sure they learn cut.

not all pokemon learn tat HM.

try catching a grass pokemon,they usually learn.

if u had wurmple,it could have learnt the HM,try evolvin silcoon again.

Not all Pokemon can learn Cut. You will have to catch another Pokemon that can learn it.

nope not at all. not all pokemon can learn certain HM moves, and cut is no exception. you just have the bad luck to not have a pokemon in your party that is able to learn cut.

in red version only like bellsprout could learn it i had a bellsprout as an hm mule lol
