Question:
Why is Skyrim too buggy to be playable?

From main quests that you can't complete if you tried other things first to bugged followers and criminally insane shopkeepers who want to murder everyone in town this game has more bugs than a jungle. Why? The 'most anticipated game of all time for ever always' was rushed and is completely unpolished. Worse yet the 3 or 4 updates they have released only fix about 6-8 issues each, none of which are the easy-to-fix, gamebreaking quest and followers bugs.

I was skeptical about Skyrim at first because of the glitches people told me about. But A few glitches hardly matter, for a game so grandiose. Skyrim is easily one of the greatest games in it's field, if not one of the greatest games ever. It's the most immersive game I've played in a long while, the graphics make you're eyes bleed in ecstasy, and all the characters and dialog are astounding.

You have to be patient with it. A game this huge has it's flaws, but if you can stand a few glitches, such as the occasional buggy AI, or other minor things, this game will draw you in and never EVER let you go.

They're all buggy. Bethesda release a buggy game due to demand, and fix it later. They've gotten too habitualised to this, and thus release buggy games with the intention of fixing it later. That's like a builder who you hire building a shoddy house, and then fixing it only after you have bought it and moved in.

I've not found it "too buggy to be playable". And neither has thousands and thousands of other people. I only encountered a couple bugs, and none of them were game-breaking.

If you have Xbox Live or PSN then there should have been patches for buggy issues. If not, there's your problem.
