Pretty much every game I play there will be times when the sound cuts out for a second or two. Normally I can just ignore it, but when I'm in a helicopter or jet and someone locks onto me I need to hear for the approaching missle. Is anyone else having this problem? Any solutions?

to avoid missiles when sound is not available, look at your screen when the "lock" word in the middle goes solid (not flashing) and turns red the missile is out. and yes the patch should come out soon fixing all the other bugs too.

I and my friend who play this game all the time get this problem. We were on Caspian border defending m-comm stations and all of a sudden the sound of EVERYTHING cut out. The only thing we could hear is each other but even then we would hear random voices as if someone elses chat system got glitched into ours. usually like you say the problem fixes itself given time but it can as i have seen cost you a game!!

As for fixing the problem, it's a server problem so as such there isn't anything you can do i'm afraid, just keep trying different servers. Another problem i get is all the players on my screen would freeze up, seconds later i would get booted back to the lobby saying "you lost connection to the session" yet i know the problem wasn't my connection as i'm still connected to PSN.

So in a nutshell the problem isn't your end it's EA and DICE that don't sort the key problems out, they keep updating things yet always seem to miss the key issues.

best of luck though!!

Battlefield's Facebook account has just said that they are working on a patch for the issue's PS3 users are experiencing.
