Halo 3 servers are down?

Question

I keep trying to play matchmaking but none of the playlists are showing and it keeps glowing these words.

"Information could not be retrieved from the Halo3 server."

I checked all my cables for my xbox, and online play works for my other games. Xbox live works and I can go on the Internet and watch TV. Is there like some Bungie update or something where I can't play for a bit, or whats going on?

Also I have XBox Live, and I did everything to try to fix it, but nothing is working. Is it under maintenance? Its been like this for a hour.

my halo 3 is working fine maby theres something wrong with your game you should try cleaning the disc
