World of Warcraft Dual spec question?

Question

( My character is paladin )

1)When i buy the Dual spec , will i be able to re talent , as many times i want , free?

2) When i change my talent tree , from major to the secondary tree , will my action bars be changed automatically or each time i use dual spec , i ll have to fix my action bars??

3)Do i have to have two sets of gear for each time and have them in my bags?

4)Will my gear and my glyphs change automatically When i change my talent tree?

Answer 1

1) You will be able to swap between the 2 spec's at any time for free, just not in combat. However you will not be allowed to re-talent, you will have to visit the trainer and pay for that.



2) Yes your action bars will change providing you have sorted them out whilst swapping spec's. Then from there they will always change.



3) You can use the equipment manager on the interface to swap your gear, yes they have to be in your bags for you to do this.



4) When you change your glyphs will also change providing you, have the correct glyphs for each spec. Your gear will not change you have to use the equipment manager for that. Via interface.

1) When you buy the Dual Spec, the price to respec EACH of the trees goes back to an earlier level, but you still have to pay to respec each of your trees if you want to change.



2. Yes, your action bars automatically change for each tree. So once you get them set up, they just revert each time.



3. In your bags is up to you. Your gear doesnt' change, so you have to have two sets. I personally have 3 sets - Holy, Protection & PvP. When I do dailies, I make up a mixture of the three. You can easily switch, though, since the 3.2 patch.



4. Glyphs are linked to the talent tree. Gear has to be switched manually. You cannot switch talents in combat, and if you are a mana user (I am) you lose all mana when switching. For example, when I switch from holy to prot, I will switch talents, then divine plea, then switch gear (mana builds faster because I have tons more int in my holy gear. )

1) no, all dual spec does is it allows you to go back and forth between two specs without always paying to respec over and over. it does not allow you to retalent for free. there's a feature in the interface options under features that allows you to put in talents and testing it out before actually committing to that spec. try that out instead.



2) yes, they will change when switching from one spec to the other. you will have to fix your action bar once but after that it'll change for you every time.



3)yes you will need two sets of gear and they will need to be in your bag at all times if you choose to use the built in outfitter mod. you can keep them in your bank but once you switch specs you'll have to run back and get it which will take time. it's best to keep it with you at all times.



4) once you have them set for each spec after dual specing you won't have to mess with your glyphs. your gear however you will either need to use the outfitter blizz put in or you'll have to change your gear yourself every time. it's easy to use the built in outfitter and it only needs to be reset once you add new gear to your set.
