i dont know about oblivion or jade empire, but fable tlc is and always will be my favorite rpg game of all. fable tlc is alot better than fable 2 even.

Oblivion isn't as random as Morrowind was. You will find it easier to get around. Fable TLC is even more straight forward. Of the three, I liked Jade Empire the best, so I recommend it - the story was better, and there was more to do. You never got lost either.



If you like KOTOR, then Jade Empire is your best bet - it's based on the same engine. The other two are more Action RPG's.

If you like the play style of Morrowind, but you would like more of a sense of direction then Oblivion is the game for you! There is a marker on the map that leads you to where all the quests are so you aren't looking around the whole time. I was like you and was younger when Morrowind came out and when I bought Oblivion I thought it was so cool how there was a quest marker. Now when I go back to Morrowind I appreciate how open the game is and how much they let you find out for yourself. Either way I love the TES series.

oblivion... quite honestly... is terrible.stupid story, lack of any real plot, you seem to just go to places at random you dont get the feel of major exploration finding powerful equipment, and secrets in far obscure places. any nanosecond of the year morrowind is better.so consider it between morrowind / fable / jade empire

I remember Morrowind!!! But there was a bug in the main quest, and I wasn't able to continue...I loved running across the country side at like 40 mph.... :D Well, it is a very old game-It probably cost enough making it.



Not sure what TLC is, but I've played all the other ones. Fable 2 was a purely fun game-But its incredibly shallow when you think about it. Main quest ended quickly, and you end up with a unsatisfied feeling...So no to Fable... Get Oblivion. Its tough, but it provides a lot of interesting quests. Its the most popular too. (Never finished. Got too scared to enter any of the dungeons. XD I'm serious about that.) Jade Empire is a creative game otherwise...Good storyline too. But I'm not sure...
