Dishonored help, info on Granny Rags side mission?

So I'm towards the beginning of the game, I'm on hard mode and trying to play the game without killing anybody so i can get the best ending. My question is when granny asks you to poison the gangs elixir can i still get the good ending if i do that. It doesn't exactly sound like a good guy thing to do, but the gang from what i can tell doesn't seem to be good guys either so I'm really stuck. I have made it this far without killing a single guard, i don't want that to go to waste because i did or didn't do a particular side mission.

I've looked for this info on forums but can't really find a good answers. If you know and could inform me on that id really appreciate it.

No, on the next level there are bottle gang side quests and when you walk in there the first time that mission having poisoned them in the previous one you will see they are pretty much all suffering from the plague. When you re-enter upon having completed their mission you find them all dead (apart form the quest guy of course) And all of those deaths will be on your hands.



On top of that I can't say Granny Rags is the best of people either (without giving any spoilers). Another thing to note is that when you get in there's a note near the elixir saying where the next delivery is going (the golden cat - which is the next mission). So they also supply those who can't exactly afford it some elixir (despite how watered down it is - there is a note somewhere saying it still works nonetheless).
