PS3 bad internet connection. Help?

Question

I play online with Call of Duty Modern warfare 2, and Call of Duty Black Ops. When I`m playing online, I get yellow connection bar, or red. Yellow is most common for me. My wireless access point is 4 meters away from my PS3 with a wall in between. That shouldn`t be too bad. Even my PS3 says I got 100% internet connection strength.
When I play Black Ops online and another player kills me in an unbelievable way, I watched the kill camera and what I see is the player seeing me before I see him. When I come into an close fight with the enemy, of course he`ll start to shoot at me and I`m shooting at him too. I usually lose because I`m dead before I even take a shot. I watch the kill camera and I don`t even see myself shooting.
Did sony **** up? Or Activision? Why did it have to be me? It has been going on all my life, crappy things keeps happening.
Could this be solved?

to test out your connection, go to newtwork settings, connection status, and look for your signal strenght. if its 100% thats great, but there is a couple more things you need. when you sign onto black ops,check your nat type. you will see this when your in the lobby before u search for a game.

there are 3 levels. Open (best) Moderate (Ok) Strict (BAD) when you have it open, you can get into any game you want. moderate, not all the games. and strict, barley. the reason this will effect ur connection, is because when your searching for a good ping game, it can only pick the ones u have access to, so u may not be able to access good servers because of ur securtiy. if u need to change ur nat type, u need to go into ur router, and switch the security settings.

The wall is the problem, it drops signal strength. Just move the ps3 or the router so theres no wall and try playing then my guess you should be ok
