Runescape - smelt mithril or steel?

Question

Which should be better to smelt? I have 600 mithril ores and wondering if I should use coal for them, or just sell those and make steel.

What's better for experience or money?

You should smelt them so ur exp will get higher thus enabling you later on to make better items that are gonna worth alot more. once u smelt the ores sell the finished product for alot more then steel.

Go for mith if your high enough level and it depends on how much time you have 4 mineing coal. If you dont want 2 mine coal as much your good with steel.

idk but here's a guide : 1 steel platebody = 5 steel dagger. which means you gain exp for 5 steel bar. : 1 mithril platebody = 5 mithril dagger. which also means you gain exp for 5 mithril bars so its really up to you to decide.
