World of Warcraft Druid 36 almost 37?

I'm still somewhat new to WOW. My main account is Druid. I'm about to reach 37 today. When I'm fighting anything, wether it be horde or monsters, I just don't feel my character is well rounded. I have cat form and bear form. I mainly use Cat form for attacking. Horde my level can beat me easily and horde lower than my level can beat me. I just want to make my character more rounded and stronger and it feels I'm doing something wrong.

Am I spending my points wrong? Should I be wearing more cloth with higher int. and spirit instead of armour?

Anyway, It all really depends on what spec you are (spec means what you spend ure talent points on). You wanna make sure that your spending your talent points on one specific category. What you spend your talent points on very much depend on what kind of armor you should have and stuff like that.



If you have spent your talent points on different categories, you can refund your points in exchange for gold at any major cities.



If you are Balanced spec:

You should focus on Leather armor with high armor points and a +spirit effect. You wanna make sure you have a high defense and health points so you can deal damage and not stand there being attacked trying to heal yourself. If you are balanced spec and like to attack using your magic, thats good to, but make sure you get some armor that up your mana points and not as much your health, but remember, health is also important to have. plus from balanced spec you get Moonkin form that up your defense and magic power.



If you are feral spec:

Focus on your defense and health and not as much your mana, because if you are feral spec, chances are that your are tanking it up in bear form or helping deal damage in cat form and not standing back being the healer. Leather armor should be your choice here, definately not cloth.



If you are restoration spec:

You should focus on having lots of mana, health is good, but not your biggest concern. Leather armor is ok here, but Cloth armor seems to have more things on them that help your health and mana but not really your defense. If you are restoration spec, you wont be up and battling head on, you will be standing back and healing the group you are in. I would suggest Cloth armor here, but of coarse it should have things to help your mana and health. No point in having cloth armor if it doesnt help you.



Im sure since you are lvl 37 you are doing Instances (Dungeons) with other people.



Now, like i said, i have a druid also, and when they are lower lvl, they arent the strongest type of character, but once they get around 45-50, they own... alot of the times when i do the battlegrounds, i have the highest amount of kills, and im only lvl 57 and killing 2 or 3 lvl 59's at once.



If you are in need of some armor, try the Auction Houses, if you find something, try to get the cheapest one of that item to help save some gold.

Druids in WoW have 3 disciplines if I recall. (had a 60 NE Hunter so not sure) But basically, your points you get with leveling will be spent in one of two ways. Offensive spellcasting, or defensive spellcasting. I know with my Hunter, I specialized in Beastmaster and found I could solo very easily. My son took over the account recently and changed the specialization to Marksman and is getting whacked every time he turns around. Try looking inot your specializations. May have to re-cert your toon a couple times, see what works best for you. Druids are more a healer/buffer class anyway. You are not a front line melee fighter. If you have not learned to "Kite", do so.

First and foremost, don't start switching to cloth. The higher int and spirit might be tempting, but it is not worth it.



I only got my druid to 30 but I have several other higher level characters (60 warrior, 50 hunter and rogue).



Druids are very versatile but as a class, not really focused. They are the quintessential "jack of all trades, but masters of none".



They can change into bears where they are ALMOST as good as a warrior.



They can change into cats where they are ALMOST as good as a rogue.



As casters, they are ALMOST as good a healer as a priest.





The trick is using your versatility as your strength. Learn how to shift styles to keep the opponents off balance. Learn to shift from cat to caster, heal, then shift to bear and go back in. Slip a "Natures Grasp" (if you have it) before you shapeshift which will root an opponent who hits you. Keep your opponents guessing and that should give you an edge

Welcome to the unfortunate world of druid PvP - we, routinely, get the short end of the stick. There's a lot less room for error as a druid than there is for other characters.



The gear you're wearing depends on what role you're filling... if you're going for all-around hybrid use, it's going to be difficult. Quite frankly, there's 1-2 pieces of "best armor" per bracket, and they're typically a pain to get. There's other stuff that'll be okay, but you'll still be at a disadvantage.



You'll want to maximize strength, agility, stamina, intelligence, and armor. Set up macros (or a mod) to change gear when you change forms - even changing weapons can be significant.



You'll need to shift forms - cat form to ambush, pop to caster form to moonfire and heal, then shift to bear to tank, pop back to caster, go to travel form to kite. Toe to toe, you're going to be at a disadvantage - so learn each class's weak points, and try to play to it. Hunter? Sleep the pet, get in close. Rogue? Faerie fire, moonfire. Match a strength and a form with their weaknesses.



I'd recommend checking the druid forums on the wow boards - they've got great recommendations on armor, and have some tips on how to manage PvP.

Druids become healers in end game and are very very hard to kill solo. If you want a class that can do more damage try creating a mage, rogue or warrior.

well im not a druid, so i cant give u a definate answer.

but as a WOW pro ( hehe ), i've seen many druids having hard time lvling up, complaining to me that that they cant roll on cloth with intel and leather with str and agi. (rogues want)



yes. i agree druids hv hard time lvling cuz like the above post said, druids are jack-of-all-trades, juz like paladins. you guys can tank like a warrior, but not as good. heal like a priest, but not as good. dps like a rogue, but not as good. but on the bright side, u guys can do EVERYTHING, ya?



anyway back to ur question, from my exp with druid frenz, they lvl up with shapeshifting talent ( correct me if im wrong) with resto so u guys can solo easily ( dats wat i heard) so u should be getting leather dat adds sta and agi and cloth with intel. so u can always pop back to caster form, heal, pop back to watever u like and dps again. most of my druid frenz who doesnt raid, they normally go for balance in end game, for high dps. they spam moonfire like nobody's business and can crit for like 2K+ . well of cuz if ur raiding, no guild leader will want a big bird in their raid.



druids are very welcomed in PVP. juz take me for instance, i will definately wan at least a druid or 2 for my warsong, at least 3 for my arathi, if i'm forming a pvp group.
