World Of Warcraft Expansion after Wrath of the Lich King?

Who thinks that their will be another expansion after Wrath of the Lich King? Should there be another two races if so, what? Also classes and proffessions.

To the person who said that the expansions are ruining the game...

Yes many people quit after playing BC just because they have played pre-BC and BC, but that expansion brought many old and new players back to the game. If people get tired after WoTLK, they could quit but others will join. It is a repeating cycle which actually works quite well.

And to the question, yes I think that Blizzard will keep this going for there are many things that we haven't attended to in the game such as the storm in between Eastern Kingdom and Kalimdor (maelstorm or something like that). And Blizzard will come up with some new plotline to Northrend or Outland I am sure. This game is incredibly popular and I am sure Blizzard will hold it out as long as people are interested.

I defniately think there will be another expansion after Lich King, if not more than one. The reason I think this is becuase it's the biggest MMORPG in the world and they make BILLIONS off this game. Even though they are clearing up all the loose ends from the Warcraft series, there are so many different directions they could take the game and they've got some of the most creative and talented people on their payrole so another expansion or two are definately in the stars.

I think there will defiantly be a new expansion after Wrath of the Lich King because blizzard have so many customers and would lose a drastic amount of them if they stopped making expansions and updates. I think the nagga from Warcraft should be an available race for the horde. As for the Alliance they should create some holy race thing or something, I think they should make a cross bread of animals and humans such as a Sharktopus (shark-Octopus) and Lizard Men.

World of Warcraft is the best selling mmorpg out there i really do not think that they are going to let it die any time soon so they are most likely going to keep making expansions untill people quit playing (not likely) for waht ever reason, or when the next best mmorpg *cough*warhammer*cough* comes out. But i really do hope that they stop after lich king because The game was so much better pre BC with each new patch and each new expansion pack they are slowly killing the game and causing more and more players to quit(even though most the patches are fixing bugs and **** in the game a lot of the new crap and the fact that they are pretty much giving all the stuff that people spent a lot of time to get away [Level 30 mounts, Arena gear, etc]) , i know a lot of people that are going to quit wow after the Wrath of the lich king comes out because they think that is is ruining the game. What would really be cool for blizz to do and would keep me and a lot of others playing is create a pre BC only server so that people can relive all their favorite aspects of the game before it went to hell.

It's very possible. However it would be a total mystery as to where they would take the series. Once Prince Arthas is dead they are pretty much sealing up all the loose ends that they left open in Warcraft 3 as well as Warcraft 2 and 1. So things that would follow would be completely new. There are many places left in World of Warcraft that are still not accessible that would make a great start.



Given the popularity I think it's likely we will see another expansion. Since it would be something totally new.....it would be hard to speculate any new races, classes of professions.

blizzard is already trying to come up with new thing to add. after TWOTLK there is open doors for so much more.

I am not two sure on new classes and professions. there are so many that are out there that WoW has not used.



There should be atleast 3 more years of the WoW buzz untill they will be forced to create a new game. this being said Blizzard is already looking into a new game but it will not be interduced untill the end of WoW.

u could desire to have burning marketing campaign earlier upgrading to wotlk. and ignore relating to the guy who says WoW is dumb. its relaxing :) purely dont play 24/7. i've got been given addicted yet then stop a 12 months in the past.

I think so because they said when they announced death knight world of warcrafts "FIRST" hero class.
