I'm gonna list my likes and dislikes about halo 4 and also what do you think?

campaign was epic and perfect

improvements
-magnets feature in forge
-delete all items feature in forge
-graphics look more realistic
-better sound effects of guns and vehicles
-auto turrets can be forged into any gametype
-zombies look like flood
-sprint is a default ability (like jump)
- gravity volumes and trait zones
-load outs are better
-a few of the armor is good
-Promethean vision is cool
-radar shows vehicles
-mantis
-epic music
-lock feature in forge
-object highlighted before you grab in forge

Issues that need fixed
-no custom colors for humans in flood mode
-no UNSC aircraft in forge or multiplayer
-no elites
-most of the armor is ugly
-you have to unlock emblems
-forge maps are too small, no huge map like there was in reach
-when you melee different materials they make the exact same sound effect
-no invasion
-no assault
-you can only stand with your weapon down. when you walk you weapon goes back up.
-no mammoth in multiplayer (not that big of a deal)
-too easy to die (halo reach health system was better)
-can't change your vote in matchmaking
-can't zoom in while monitor in forge (not a big deal)
-next gen lighting looks all glitchy
-needs a better budget and object limit in forge

you can add to either list if you want
It's like 343i hasn't ever played previous halo multiplayer. halo 4's multiplayer was supposed to be an improved version of halo reach multiplayer, just like reach multiplayer was an improved version of halo 3 multiplayer, not a multiplayer that takes features away to add a different feature.
what are your opinions?

Yeah, i've got faith like i'm turning my back on Halo, yet certainly, i think of the multiplayer is undesirable. i won't play greater advantageous than 2 fits in a row, it is not even like i'm undesirable at it, many of the time i'm getting a minimum of two times as many kills as deaths, whether it only does not entertain me that lots.

I like the list of pros and cons you made and I completely agree. I've played every Halo game since Halo 1 and have more gameplay time on Reach alone then most people would in the series combined.

Some of the biggest issues I have are how a completely new and different enemy (Promethean) are introduced out of no where without much explanation.

Everything SHOULD have ended after Halo 3, but they don't tell you anything after everything has completely changed.

Halo WAS about the story, but they don't tell you why you are fighting the still existing covenant, only "a lot happens in four years." What happened to the Arbiter, Rtus Vadum (Halof-Jaw), and the other Elites who helped you in Halo 3? It's like everything you have done in Halo 1, 2 and 3 was wasted.

Aside from fighting an enemy they don't really tie in with the rest of the series, the campaign is extremely cliche.

Cortana goes crazy and scarifies herself, only powerful antagonist is introduced trying to kill humanity for some stupid reason, and you chase and kill him at the very end. Halo 4 only had about 4 or 5 character, but all the other ones had many more characters who where much more interesting, all playing major parts.

Halo 2 did a perfect job showing what the Covenant was, their goals, the problems they have to deal with, and making them very understandable, where as the Prometheans just want to kill humans.

Campaign aside, the overall game play feels nothing like all the other Halos. You can't play as Elites, no Invasion or Firefight. Halo 4 has taken spec-ops, hit-markers, the scoring system, kill cams, and even the unfair leveling up/custom class system from Call of Duty.

Despite all this and the lack of many gametypes or broken gametypes, it's the closest thing I can get to a new Halo game, so I'll keep playing it for a little while.

The killtimes were way too slow in Reach, the Halo 4 killtimes are more like the Halo 2 and Halo 3 killtimes, which were perfect. Most of the stuff you listed as issues are trivial, nothing major. 343 is also adding playlists each week and will probably add some UNSC vehicles later on. I think Halo 4 is great, it takes everything that Reach did wrong, and either removed it, or made it work.
