pokemon diamond to fire red migration issue?

Question

I managed to select the pokemon i wanted to migrate from Fire Red to Diamond yesterday, the game said the migration was successful but when i played Diamond afterwards, the pokemon migrated from Fire Red weren't there but they have disappeared from Fire Red so now i've lost those 6 pokemon completely.

Any ideas what happened or what i can do to get them back?

As long as you beat the pokemon league and went the the migration building it should have worked.

Did you go to Pal Park? If so, then you didn't search the correct areas. Pal Park has different areas that imitate regions. For example, if you migrate a Geodude, you must search in the grass on the "mountain". Once I had a problem where I migrated Pokemon but only found five. The one that was missing was Regice and had to be found on the water.

Yes, you didn't go to the Pal Park in "Diamond" in order to catch the 6 Pokémon that you migrated. It's southeast of Sandgem Town, you can Surf there by taking the water route that's south of Sandgem Town's sandy area. Make sure to keep your Pokémon that knows Surf with you as you go into the Pal Park because you'll need to surf in the bodies of water if you have migrated Pokémon wh are capable of living in the water.

What you have to do is beat the game then, the professor will give you a National Dex. Then you go to the place he takes you and you have to re-catch them there. There not completely lost just at the park that he takes you too.
