xbox 360 display for old xbox games?

Question

hi.. Ive got a big problem..
Ive a Xbox 360..and tons of 360 and Xbox games..i like to ask anyone if they can tell me what display i need to play the old Xbox games..
the prince of Persia works,but the 1st splinter cell says...needs to change display settings etc...
please can anyone help...i tried to download it form Xbox.com but doesn't work..i don`t use Xbox live.
please let me know

Make sure the game is compatible first. Unfortunately not all xbox games work perfectly on the 360 and some dont even work at all. Theres a list here:

According to this Splinter Cell does not support widescreen. Try changing the wide screen settings on both your 360 and your TV.

i get that sometimes you have to keep on trying and trying but if it doesn't work take it back and get a new one all xbox 360s have 3 year warrantys now so you know.

I'm not sure but try turning off the HD settings, that's all I can think of but it can't hurt to try.
